I judged an AI hackathon for @vercel, @coinbase, and @arizeai interns today.

It made one thing clear:

Anyone in the camp of “we don’t need junior engineers anymore” is missing what’s happening.

This generation is the most cracked, creative, and adaptable group of builders I’ve ever seen.

They have no ego. They seek feedback. They collaborate naturally. And they’ve grown up with AI as a native part of how they learn and build.

In some ways, they’re indistinguishable from AI power users because they’ve never known a world without it.

They’re going to cook us all.

And honestly, I’m here for it.
