It is a matter of grave concern that the Government of Manipur, the Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL), and the Manipur Police continue to maintain a conspicuous silence on a matter of utmost seriousness.

Shri Paojangam Chongloi, a dedicated employee of the MSPDCL (33kV Division), was brutally murdered in cold blood today by armed cadres of the Tangkhul-led NSCN-IM and ZUF-Kamson group while discharging his official duties.

Neither the Government of Manipur nor the MSPDCL has issued any statement of condemnation, nor has any legal action been initiated against the perpetrators by the Manipur Police (@manipur_police), despite the department being otherwise prompt in issuing statements against the Kuki-Zo community.

The continued silence of the authorities in the face of such a heinous crime is deeply regrettable and raises serious questions regarding the impartiality and credibility of the state machinery.

We deeply mourn the passing of Miss NeiEsther Gangte, who succumbed today to her injuries from the Longpi massacre carried out by NSCN-IM and its proxy ZUF-K.

Today, 15 September 2026, Manipuri Naga cowards led by NSCN-IM and its proxy, ZUF-K, stalked two Kuki women farmers who were working on their farms. The moment the two women were alone, they brutally murdered them.

The victims are:

Mrs. Chonga Sitlhou, 76 years, wife of Late Seidou Sitlhou. She was murdered while gathering firewood on her farm at Leisangphai @ Muktokhal on 15 September 2026.

Miss Kimneo Singson, 28 years, daughter of Paosei Singson. She had recently completed her nursing course and had returned home to help her parents with farming. She was shot and murdered in cold blood at Leisangphai @ Muktokhal on 15 September 2026.

An elderly woman collecting firewood and a young nurse helping her parents on the land are not military targets. Their killing is an act of cowardice and a crime against civilians.

Let the whole world know the barbarity being inflicted on innocent Kuki civilians by NSCN-IM and ZUF-K.

It is with profound sorrow that we mourn the untimely demise of Miss Kimboi Singson.

Having recently completed her graduation from the Nurse Training Academy, she had returned to her native place with the noble intent of supporting her family. Today, she was tragically murdered in cold blood, allegedly by cadres of the Tangkhul-led NSCN-IM and ZUF-Kamson.

She nurtured a profound aspiration to excel in the medical and hospitality sector and was deeply committed to serving her family, her community, and the nation of India.

Her untimely death is an irreparable loss, not only to her family but also to the community at large. One is compelled to ask: for how long will the killing of innocent, unarmed civilians, including children and the elderly, satisfy the bloodlust of the Tangkhul NSCN-IM and ZUF-Kamson?

May her soul rest in eternal peace.

Two Kuki Women Reportedly Killed by NSCN-IM

Nu. Chonga Singsit and Ng. Kimboi Singson are reportedly among the two Kuki women found brutally killed today along the Tamenglong–Jiribam border.

At approximately 04:00 hours today, armed cadres of the NSCN-IM (Tangkhul faction) and its affiliate group, ZUF (Kamson faction), carried out a violent attack on L. Tollen Village, Tamenglong District, Manipur.

During the course of the attack, Mrs. Lhingngai Singsit, wife of Mr. Seineh Singsit, was brutally killed, while Mr. Seineh Singsit and his two sons sustained grievous injuries. According to ground reports, the injured remain in critical condition.

JUSTICE FOR THE KUKI VICTIMS — END THE CYCLE OF VIOLENCE

The brutal killing of Mrs. Lhingngai Singsit of L. Tollen Village on 13 September 2026, reportedly during the early hours of the morning, has once again raised serious concerns over the safety of Kuki-Zo civilians living in vulnerable frontier areas. Her husband, Mr. Seineh Singsit, and their son were reportedly seriously injured in the attack.

There are serious allegations regarding the involvement and support networks of NSCN-IM and the ZUF (Kamson) group, including claims of assistance from armed elements operating from across the Myanmar side, such as the Shan National Army and Myanmar military/Junta-linked forces. There are also allegations concerning the role, influence or support of various organisations and political figures, including the United Naga Council, Senapati district student bodies, JTM, NPO, ANSAM, Tangkhul CSOs and MLA Losii Dikho.

These are grave allegations and must not be treated as established facts without an impartial investigation. If any individual, organisation or armed group has facilitated, supplied, sheltered, directed or enabled attacks against civilians, the evidence must be uncovered and those responsible must face the law.

The central question is simple:

Who planned the attack?
Who carried it out?
Who supplied or supported the perpetrators?
Who knew about it beforehand?
And why were innocent civilians left vulnerable?

An attack on an unarmed family cannot be justified by political differences, territorial disputes or communal grievances. Women, children and ordinary villagers must never become targets.

The Government of India, security agencies and investigating authorities must ensure a credible, independent and time-bound investigation, including examination of any alleged links between armed groups, cross-border networks and civilian attacks.

Mrs. Lhingngai Singsit deserves justice.
Her injured family deserves protection.
The perpetrators deserve accountability.
And every civilian deserves to live without fear.

No more silence. No more impunity.
Investigate the entire chain—not only the trigger pullers.
Follow the evidence. Expose the network. Deliver justice.

Three days ago, you called upon Smt. Nemcha Kipgen, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister, to sensitize her community to be more humane and to uphold Christian values.

Today, three innocent Kuki-Zo civilians, including two unarmed women, were brutally murdered at point-blank range at Teikhang Village, IT Road, by cadres of the Tangkhul-led NSCN-IM and its affiliate, ZUF-Kamson.

In light of this tragic incident, may I respectfully urge you to come out of your silence and make a similar appeal to Shri Losii Dikho, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister, as well.
