This accident occurred on Jogeshwari–Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR).
Fortunately, the rider was not seriously injured, though the situation could have been dangerous.

In a similar incident in July 2025, Mr. Lalu Kamble, riding a scooter towards Vikhroli, lost control after hitting a pothole. He had underestimated the depth of one pothole, which caused his scooter to falter. The dumper driver, unable to react in time, collided with him, and unfortunately, Mr. Kamble died.
The dumper driver, a resident of Shivaji Nagar in Govandi, remained at the scene and was not found to be intoxicated. He was detained by patrolling officers and charged under Sections 106(1) (causing death by rash or negligent act not amounting to culpable homicide) and 281 (rash driving or riding on a public way) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

Kora Kendra bridge extension work began in 2018..7 bloody years.Still only 37% work complete. People come on streets for pigeons & dogs, not for infra delay @mybmc bridge department should get guinness book of records for poor planning. Sadly MP of this area is Central Minister.
