Today, we celebrate 200 years of saving lives at sea.
Thanks to our incredible volunteers, who give their time to save others, and the kindness of supporters like you, we can always answer the call for help.
We’d love to hear your stories and memories of the RNLI 👇

If you find yourself in danger in the water, relax and #floattolive. If you see someone else in trouble at the coast, call 999 or 112 and ask for the Coastguard.
Hear from @DungenessRNLI crew who rescued this little boy when you join our exclusive event 28 March 2023, 6pm. And learn how you too can be a lifesaver when you leave a gift in your Will to us. Featuring @Farewill.

Complex global issues mean some of our volunteer crews are dealing with traumatic rescues in the English Channel. Supporting them means focusing on their welfare, developing equipment & casualty care. Our role is to listen to crews & save every one without fear or favour #OneCrew
A big thank you to our partners @AquapacHq, & rugby World Cup winner @dallaglio8, who are setting off today on a fundraising walk along the River Thames in aid of our lifesaving work. If you’re out and about, come say hello! 👋

He talks to @benshephard and @kategarraway about his latest challenge to mark 20 years of the RNLI having a lifesaving presence on the Thames.
The @RNLI will be patrolling the country's beaches this Easter weekend.
As @Daily_Express learnt, the rescuers have spent hours gearing up to save lives at sea and on land 🌊👇
