Happy to announce that ECC 2024, the 25th Workshop on Elliptic Curve Cryptography, will take place in Taipei, Taiwan Oct 30 - Nov 01, 2024. The workshop will be preceeded by an autumn school on isogenies. For more see https://t.co/KSszCn16M1 You can sign up up for annoucements
In case you still want to learn the @MainoLuciano@chloelono@yx7__@isogenies@BenjWeso 's attack (the simple version Algorithm 1) I have just created https://t.co/PDv1MC6pnR .This doesn't generalize like https://t.co/TUpMm1NmRy (Algorithm 2) but is simpler to understand(IMHO)
Pleased to announce CryptAttackTester, a framework to systematically catch bugs in cryptanalysis. CAT tests analyses of completely specified algorithms in a simple, fully defined cost metric. Includes many ISD attacks + AES-128. Joint work with @TungChou1. https://t.co/KbbhPfAWsu
At @SandboxAQ we have open positions in cryptography. (Lead) Cryptography SWE roles and a Standardisation Engineering role. The latter might be of interest for people both coming from an engineering or a research background. See https://t.co/mJb3VYYIzP for details.
We break pSIDH in quantum polynomial time using a non-abelian hidden subgroup problem that admits a poly time algorithm. We also solve a quaternion lifting algorithm which might be of independent interest.
Really excited to announce FESTA: a new isogeny-based PKE which I've been working on with @andreavbasso and @MainoLuciano
The protocol is built on top of the SIDH attacks and I'm thrilled to see Kani's criterion being used constructively in cryptography.

Had lots of fun working on this project with @MainoLuciano and @isogenies!
We build a brand-new isogeny-based PKE by constructively using the same techniques that enabled the SIDH attacks. The best part? We got to call it FESTA, which is party in Italian! 🎉
The CHES challenge was just launched at https://t.co/3tZnDnp4wf!
Thanks to @mrivain & co for organizing. Please contact them in case you have questions.
We had a great time at the rump session of @IACReurocrypt 2023.
For anyone who missed it, here's the video of The Superspecial Isogeny Club Quartet (SICQ): https://t.co/RnOtWI8iH6
Vic de Quehen, Christophe Petit, and I are organising a Banff isogeny research workshop from 21-25th Aug 2023. We are co-locating in Europe, and one bonus: we can include more people! Apply here for a spot in Banff: https://t.co/JxvQo5WKP8. Room/board covered (in Banff)
Do you love computing isogenies? Me too!
I have written a SageMath implementation of x-only isogenies between Montgomery curves.
Consider this a little preview of a bigger project I've been working on, coming soon™️
