Keefe’s quote about manipulating officials is bang-on.
Matthews, with both gloves on, is holding THREE sticks. Man is literally cleaning up.
Stamkos, glove off, starts punching the guy cleaning up while MID-CONVERSATION with the officials. Both get five for fighting. Hilarious.
I guess I picked the wrong time to come to @WINNERS for some household items. I’m told someone came in today and bought EVERYTHING in household & decor. One person. EVERYTHING. The staff here are working pretty hard to get this scanning done. #yyt@NTVNewsNL
@EmilyTucker110 great point about lack of immediate access. I agree a quota would assist in this issue and allow Canadian Artists to get the recognition they deserve. #POPMUSW22
@hepquinton great post, it is intimidating for new Canadian artists in a US dominated market. I agree enforcing a quota would level competition. #POPMUSW22

Canadian Artists would be given the push the need and opportunity to promote music. While the US dominates the market, Canadian talent needs to be heard, so a quota would assist in that.
@jenna__macinnis Faith-Ann & Jenna, i'm not a regular concert goer, so I did not think about the difference in sound from an artists live performance and recorded song. If there is a big difference in the sound quality, Wald would be correct in saying most would prefer autotuned song #POPMUSW22
#POPMUSW22
Wald's statement is subject to preference. While some prefer the un-tuned live band performance, they still opt for recorded, autotuned music because it is easily accessible.
@fa_warford#POPMUSW22 Faith-Ann, ambiguous is a great term to describe Wald's statement. I agree with your thoughts and have similar preferences to see a live band rather than recording. Thanks for sharing
@jenna__macinnis#POPMUSW22 Great tweet Jenna, your use of the phrase "cultural theft" is a great term to describe how the original artists were not credited. It really is unethically stealing music when the black artists were not respected enough to credit them. Thanks for sharing.
@Kgclarke2#POPMUSW22 Hi Kailee, I believe that "schlock" music is deprecate from where it is copied but you're right that the artists still do have talent. Great post, thanks for sharing
@natalie22335#POPMUSW22 Hi great tweet. You're right, it isn't right when record companies have racist actions when they sign artists covering black artist's songs without credibility.
#POPMUSW22 artists recording music under the "Schlock Music" should give credit to the original artists. This music is considered a cover and doesn't respect the original black artists in the 50's. Covering songs is fine long as they pay homage to the original artist.
@anik_mun Hi, Great tweet,
Ray Charles was unique from other artists because of his vocal style. I believe R. Charles was primarily trying to voice his pain through his music and happened to differentiate himself from other artists because his music had depth compared to others
