@mobileraj it’s prob more like an open ended question to check your curiosity on ai and in general. answering the question kinda loses the point. it’s not much different than asking if you use vlookup or index in excel.
@yq_acc@ethereum@base@BNBCHAIN@solana A big learning in appstores was the importance of trust in the legitimacy of the app - not malware and a reasonable quality level. You’ll need to start with hand testing before you get the scale for automation and human-agent reviews.
@bryanrbeal It’s a hierarchical culture. The docs are for execs to
make a lot of decisions quickly. Writing bad docs gets no decision and the writer canned. Of course it’s probably run amok except at the very top where everyone is spectacular at it.
@scottbelsky Running frontier open models would need 64 to 128gb high bandwidth memory at $1k device price points. Historical pace delivers it in 2030-2032. So depends on many years can Apple pull forward.
@sreeramkannan@FigoETH I think what’s missing is representation for users and token holders, who aren’t involved much in Eth decisions but are direct actors in the network economics.
@sreeramkannan@FigoETH This binary framework doesn’t cover the full design space. A 3% take rate works for all sides in credit card payments. Applied to Eth long term, could drive $1T+ revenue without favoring any side.
@0xkydo@QwQiao Lots of ways for developer platforms to create sustainable advantages. Crypto doesn’t break them. Open source limits the options but even then many examples.
@0xkydo Depends on how big you’re thinking. The org complexity dictates the OS. IC’s only -> Managers -> Directors (2 layers) -> VP (3 layers). If moving to managers, hire one with proven ops experience and let them install what’s important to them. (+ first VP will replace it all)
@stevehou AWS oppty is open source model hosting and AI complementary compute. Foundational model companies are building their own data centers to try to outscale each other so way too risky to play there.
@lmrankhan Oscillation is the norm in many industries. Industrials, telecom, media, luxury goods and many low growth areas. Interesting finance has been bundle only.
@sreeramkannan It’s not completely thought thru. Software demand is virtually limitless (“eating the world”). So if nothing else demands incremental intelligence, coding will. Therefore, offloading coding from data centers to edge devices will likely break the energy/GPU constraint.
@sreeramkannan My takeaways = 1/ incremental energy/GPU will cascade down from the most economically valuable tasks. 2/ This constraint eases when on-device models can code well.
@dampedspring@mac_eth My understanding = Circle shares interest earned with Coinbase. Coinbase pays USDC held in their wallets. Coinbase could lend these holdings but hasn’t.
