Last night, I called my opponent Mary Nolan to congratulate her on her victory in our contested race for Metro Council. Representative Nolan has an admirable record of successful progressive victories from her time in the legislature, and I have no doubt she will govern with...
"We got to run exactly the type of campaign we wanted to run. We centered climate. I wanted to test the idea that climate could be a winning issue in a local issue...the second big thing was that we didn't want to take big money to make it work."
