"3D-MINSTED nanoscopy and protein tracking in densely labelled living cells"

Kinesin-1 steps resolved amid substantial intracellular background!

Excited to share the first preprint from my PhD. 3D live-cell kinesin tracking turned out to be mind-blowingly easy with 3D MINSTED, on an amazing microscope designed and built by Julius 🔬🧪
Following proteins inside a living cell is a bit like tracking needles in a haystack. The newest track/trick, 3D-#MINSTED lets biologists lock onto and follow individual proteins with nanometer precision, even in the cellular crowd. Molecular hide-and-seek is getting a lot easier.😀

"I had a teacher that didn't like me and I didn't like him. At the end of the year he decided to fail me. The ironic thing is that the topic was chemistry. I have the distinction of being the only chemistry laureate who failed the topic in high school!"
