@bitcloud @ihorgowda @GaryMarcus Your claim that the AI critics have been wrong 100% of the time in the last 2 years is absolutely false. Proof: “Man Dies by Suicide After Conversations with AI Chatbot That Became His 'Confidante,' Widow Says” https://t.co/q2ufRnhxB7 @Techmeme@TechmemeChatter
Apple must feel responsible each time an innocent victim gets hacked. If we simply pat Apple on the head & say “gosh, targeted attacks are hard, it’s not your fault” then this is exactly the level of security we should expect to get — and we’ll deserve it. https://t.co/PbCHtFuWEn
The Atacama Dessert is filled with breathtaking landscapes & unique biodiversity. It’s far from deserted. The consequences of our Fast Fashion addiction are real. 1. Say no to FF. 2. Only buy biodegradable clothes like 100% cotton. 3. Thrift shop instead https://t.co/A0nSSKJxid

@sweatystartup Especially once we’ve developed enough experience. Sometimes they can be distracting too, but I think completely ignoring or pushing away all emotions is inhuman and 100% a mistake.
@sweatystartup If you don’t want to act on one, give yourself the space to experience the emotion, and let it pass. They are usually there for a reason. Emotions are yet another piece of information in the decision making process. And sometimes a gut feeling is the right one.
Great job @AppStore verifying those data privacy “nutritional labels”... (The developer of https://t.co/uRzywi7MIH 100% lied. Go read their privacy policy: https://t.co/oU2y9MT0mc )
Apple couldn't have found a democratic country without systematic Human Rights abuses to move manufacturing to? Didn't we learn our lesson the first time about empowering a communist regime? Human Rights Watch for Vietnam: https://t.co/p40BLswvHC

Hey @wirecutter How does your review on TVs not once mention privacy? This is a glaring omission. I want to know what Smart TVs are spying on me, and if I can turn all the spying features off. Please do a better job reviewing TVs. ☹️ https://t.co/bLTGkJB17k
There are multiple issues surrounding the App Store for iOS developers. It’s not just the 30% cut. Regarding that point though, software as a service has changed the market, and 30% is way out of whack. https://t.co/TNPzZr39Sa
@tconrad@OurielOhayon@vincib @Latingenious @thelordvengeful This isn’t true. Free apps listed in the App Store must pay Apple $100/year for an Apple Developer membership. (As an iOS dev, I pay this.)
@DaveWoodX@geekpondering@wilshipley@rjonesy@lapcatsoftware@tempelorg Haha yup. Credit cards have multiple income streams. So does the App Store. I don’t pay $100/year for a dev membership for nothing. And Apple just announced for WWDC they have 23 million registered developers... (although we don’t know the % of free members to paid to enterprise)
@rjonesy@DaveWoodX@lapcatsoftware@tempelorg@wilshipley At the end of the day, we wouldn’t be having this conversation if Apple charged something reasonable, say 5%, or your 1st 1M idea. We don’t know the break even point of the App Store, but Apple’s services business (which includes the App Store) last quarter reached 13 billion!
