I'm asking only out of curiousity; to try to broaden my understanding of how this may work. I've seen this suggested as possibly a way to improve readability and I'm skeptical that it could do so sufficiently.
Can adding a text-shadow improve a low text/background color contrast ratio (e.g. 1.5) to become WGAC compliant - or improve it at all?
I suppose it may depend on the amount of blur-radius added? That seems like it then becomes a style issue.
How can this be tested? Thoughts?
