🚨 URGENT APPEAL — TAPHOU VILLAGE, KANGPOKPI DISTRICT
Reports from the ground indicate that Taphou Village in Kangpokpi District came under attack around 2:20 AM today, with allegations of burning and the use of sophisticated weapons. There are also reports of firing directed towards Kuki civilians.
These are extremely serious allegations that demand immediate, independent and impartial verification. Any armed group or individual found responsible for attacks on civilians, destruction of homes, or the use of firearms against non-combatants must be held accountable under the law.
There are also allegations concerning the involvement or coordination of NSCN (IM), ZUF/Kamson Group, Shan National Army, junta-linked armed elements, United Naga Council, Senapati District students, JTM, NPO and ANSAM. These claims must not be ignored or allowed to remain uninvestigated. If evidence exists of coordination, financing, planning, logistical support or obstruction of civilian protection, the competent authorities must establish the facts through a transparent investigation.
Supreme Court of India, NIA and CBI — this is the time for urgent action.
🔴 INVESTIGATE: Establish exactly what happened at Taphou, identify those responsible and preserve all evidence.
🔴 PROTECT CIVILIANS: Deploy adequate security and ensure the immediate safety of vulnerable villages and residents.
🔴 ENSURE ACCOUNTABILITY: Anyone responsible for attacks, arson, killings, threats or illegal use of weapons against civilians must face due process and prosecution.
🔴 PREVENT FURTHER VIOLENCE: Immediate measures are needed to stop retaliatory attacks and prevent the situation from escalating further.
Every civilian life matters. Every village matters. Justice must be equal and impartial.
We appeal to the Supreme Court of India, NIA, CBI, Government of India, Manipur Government and Central Security Forces to urgently verify the reports, protect civilians and ensure that no perpetrator—regardless of organisation, community or influence—is above the law.
Stop attacks on civilians. Stop the burning of villages. Protect human life. Investigate independently. Deliver justice.

DAY 22/30 — TRUTH FIRST. INVESTIGATION FIRST. JUSTICE FIRST.
Why is the focus being shifted toward the NRC while serious questions surrounding the widely circulated Biren Singh viral audio remain unresolved?
The public deserves answers—not distraction, silence or a change of subject. If audio recordings and allegations have been placed before the authorities, they must be independently and impartially verified through forensic investigation to establish whether they are authentic, edited or AI-generated.
We are not asking anyone to prejudge the matter. We are demanding a credible investigation, transparency and accountability. Investigate the evidence first and let the facts speak.
Why has there been no clear public explanation about the status of the investigation? Why should questions surrounding the audio remain unanswered while public attention is redirected elsewhere?
We urge the Supreme Court of India, NIA, CBI, Ministry of Home Affairs and other competent authorities to ensure that the matter is investigated fairly, regardless of political position or influence.
Justice must be equal. Truth must not be buried. Silence cannot replace investigation.
DAY 22/30 — WE WILL NOT BE DISTRACTED.

The Kuki National Organisation (KNO) and United People’s Front (UPF) have rejected allegations made by the Government of Manipur regarding violations of the Suspension of Operations (SoO) ground rules. They have accused the state government of failing to uphold the same framework and of being complicit in violence against the Kuki community.
In a letter addressed to N. Ashok Kumar, Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Home) and Chairman of the Joint Monitoring Group (JMG), the KNO-UPF acknowledged receipt of his communication dated August 7, 2026, concerning alleged violations by SoO cadres.

Dear Friends,
On 15 Aug 2026, Indians witnessed grand celebrations across all states. These celebrations filled the younger generation with a sense of pride, humility, motivation, and patriotism. States like Jammu & Kashmir, Sikkim, Kerala, Arunachal Pradesh, and even Nagaland, which share borders with neighboring countries such as Pakistan, China, and Myanmar, celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and without fear.
In contrast, in the state of Manipur, open challenges were made through letters calling for a mass boycott of the celebrations. Organizations like UNC, NPO, ANSAM and TKS issued statements mobilizing the entire community to disrespect the honor and sacrifices of Indians who fought bravely against the Colonial British Empire. The state police and civil administration remained silent spectators and allowed this to happen.
Indian law clearly places such actions under the following provisions:
- The Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971
- BNS Section 196 & Section 153A*: Promoting Enmity
- Section 188 & Section 223: Disobedience to Orders
- Section 352 & Section 503: Criminal Force / Intimidation
But what happened? No arrests, No FIRs, No Action.
Are we allowing such elements to run civil organizations and inject venom of anti-national sentiments into the coming generation?
Now, many photos and videos are being posted on social media accounts portraying this as a "victory" and highlighting the boycott as an achievement. Does this mean MLAs and other political figures of the Tangkhul community also boycotted the event, or did they defy the orders of TKS? If they did celebrate, are they under threat? Are the local policemen who marched also under threat?
There are open challenges to the sovereignty and integrity of India: demands for a separate constitution and laws, disrespect toward security forces, civil laws, government agencies, and even calls to destabilize the state.
However, when it comes to personal benefits, they seek the shelter of the very same Indian Government. Mr. Th. Angteshang Maring, President of ANSAM, spewed venom against Independence Day celebrations, yet he must have used facilities provided by the very same India that he claims to hate to his core. He must have:
- Used sanitary fixtures made in India
- Cooked food using LPG gas brought to the country under the protection of the Indian Navy
- Used Indian telecom services
- Availed subsidies given by the Indian Government
- Used Indian fuel for his vehicle
- Drunk tea from Indian tea gardens
- Used utensils made in India
- Used UPI or PayTM services
- Availed services of doctors who studied in Indian colleges
The fact is, spreading venom has become easy, and hiding has become comfortable in Manipur, while government agencies sit quietly, watching the growing problem, or are perhaps forced to look away. A misinformed generation will be more dangerous than the current one, as they are being trained to use weapons and AI tools, communicate faster, and believe whatever they are told.
The boycott of the 80th Independence Day is not merely an incident. It is an indicator of a potential civil conflict being orchestrated. After Kukis, it could be Meiteis, then Pangals, then Muslims, then migrants, and then the Indian Government.
If they do not respect India, Indian laws, and customs, then why should Indian laws, including human rights protections, apply to them? They believe in "an eye for an eye." So if they boycott India, should Indians also boycott them? Calls are being made to stop all medical, transport, police, fire, banking, market, railway, airway, and even childcare facilities for 7 to 14 days. The solution to the "Nagalim madness" must now be on the table.

🔴 DAY 19/30 — 30 DAYS VIRTUAL PROTEST: THE TIMELINE STILL DEMANDS ANSWERS
For 19 consecutive days, the Kuki-Zo community’s virtual protest continues with one clear and peaceful demand: let the truth be tested through an independent, credible and transparent investigation.
The alleged audio recordings associated with former Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh have raised serious questions that deserve to be addressed through proper forensic and judicial procedures—not ignored, dismissed, or left unresolved.
The timeline presented in this campaign raises questions about the steps taken regarding the alleged recordings, the forensic examination, the comparison of the questioned voice with an authenticated voice sample, and the continuing need for a transparent determination of authenticity.
Our demand is simple: investigate the evidence. Verify the recordings. Establish the truth.
If the recordings are genuine, the public deserves to know the truth and appropriate legal action must follow according to law. If they are not genuine, that too should be established through an independent and scientifically credible forensic process. Justice cannot be built on silence, uncertainty or selective attention.
The Kuki-Zo community has endured immense suffering since the violence that began in Manipur in 2023. When serious allegations and evidence are placed before institutions of justice, every citizen deserves confidence that they will be examined fairly, independently and without political interference.
We therefore appeal to the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, NIA, CBI, Government of India and all competent authorities to ensure that every relevant piece of evidence is preserved, independently examined and subjected to due process.
19 DAYS HAVE PASSED.
11 DAYS REMAIN.
ONE DEMAND REMAINS: LET THE TRUTH BE TESTED.
Justice delayed must not become justice denied.

Hon'ble Chief Minister,

Through Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister Smt. Nemcha Kipgen.
Subject: Urgent appeal regarding lack of doctor posted at T. Waichong PHC, Waichong Sub- Division, Kangpokpi District, Manipur.
Respected Hon'ble Sir,
We, the Kuki Students' Organisation, Twilang Block, submit this application with deep concern over the prolonged lack of a doctor posted at T. Waichong Primary Health Centre, Kangpokpi District, Manipur.
For several years, T. Waichong PHC has remained without a regular doctor. The post exists, the building exists, but the absence of a doctor has left thousands of people in the area without basic healthcare. Pregnant women, children, and elderly patients are forced to travel 30-40 km. to Kangpokpi or elsewhere for even minor treatment. In emergencies, this lack of a posted doctor costs precious life.
A PHC without a posted doctor is only an empty building. The people of Twilang Waichong Sub-Division continue to suffer due to this prolonged vacancy.
We therefore most respectfully pray for your immediate intervention to;
1. Fill the vacant posts with sufficient doctors so that 24x7 service rotation accessible at T. Waichong PHC.
2. Ensure the posted doctors retained with essential medicines and staff support.
Hon'ble Sir, your decisive action to address this lack of a posted doctor will restore faith and hope among the suffering people of Twilang block, (Waichong Sub-Division) Kangpokpi District, Manipur.
We shall remain grateful for your prompt and compassionate response.

To
The Hon’ble Chief Minister
Shri Yumnam Khemchand Singh
Government of Manipur
Subject: Attack on Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri Losii Dikho and Request for Immediate Action
Sir,
Yesterday, the convoy of Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri Losii Dikho was attacked by Liangmai volunteers reportedly acting under the supervision of UNC, NPO, and Tangkhul groups.
It is a matter of grave concern that, to date, no condemnation has been issued nor any warrants served against the perpetrators. Furthermore, the official Twitter handle of Manipur Police [@manipur_police] has neither issued a statement nor initiated action in this regard.
It is observed that in incidents involving Tangkhul or Liangmai communities, the Manipur Police promptly issues statements and attributes responsibility to the Kuki-Zo community. This selective response raises serious questions of impartiality.
Sir, can silence be considered an appropriate response when the Deputy Chief Minister is attacked in broad daylight and official government vehicles are destroyed? Had a similar incident occurred in the Kuki-Zo Separate Administration area, would the State Government and the Manipur Police, equipped with advanced resources, have adopted the same approach of inaction?
I respectfully seek clarification on whether the administration of the State is being influenced by such groups. I also urge the Government to take preventive measures to ensure the safety of Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Smt. Nemcha Kipgen.
I request that the Hon’ble Union Home Minister Shri @AmitShah ji kindly take note of this matter.
With regards,

JUSTICE DELAYED IS JUSTICE DENIED — THE BIREN SINGH AUDIO TAPES MUST NOT BE FORGOTTEN 🚨
The alleged audio recordings involving former Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh raise extremely serious questions that cannot simply be pushed aside or left unresolved. The recordings have been the subject of forensic examination and dispute, but the people of Manipur deserve a clear, transparent and conclusive determination of their authenticity.
These are not matters that should be dismissed casually as “Artificial Intelligence” or ignored without a proper examination of the original recordings, source material, metadata, devices and all available forensic evidence. The alleged recordings contain serious claims that, if authenticated, could have enormous implications for accountability during the Manipur conflict.
We therefore make an urgent appeal to the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, NIA, CBI and all competent investigating authorities: do not allow this matter to disappear through delay. Conduct an independent, impartial and scientifically rigorous investigation and place the truth before the people.
If the tapes are genuine, those responsible for any wrongdoing must face the law. If they have been manipulated, that fact must also be established beyond doubt. Either way, the truth must come out.
The Kuki community and all peace-loving citizens of Manipur are demanding justice, accountability and transparency. Justice must not depend on political influence, public pressure or prolonged delay.
HON’BLE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA — WE URGE YOU TO ENSURE THAT THE TRUTH IS ESTABLISHED AND JUSTICE IS DELIVERED.
JUSTICE DELAYED IS JUSTICE DENIED.
TRUTH MUST PREVAIL.
ACCOUNTABILITY MUST FOLLOW.
JUSTICE MUST BE DONE AND MUST BE SEEN TO BE DONE.

Justice Must Not Be Delayed: Investigate the Alleged Biren Singh Audio Tapes
The alleged audio tapes involving former Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh must not be dismissed merely as “Artificial Intelligence” or fabricated material without a proper forensic investigation. If the recordings are genuine, their contents could have serious implications for the deaths, displacement, destruction and suffering endured by the Kuki-Zo community in Manipur.
We therefore urgently appeal to the Supreme Court of India, National Investigation Agency (NIA), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and other competent investigating authorities to preserve the recordings, obtain the original source files, conduct independent forensic voice authentication, examine metadata and chain of custody, identify the persons allegedly involved, and investigate the full context of the conversations.
The Kuki-Zo community has endured an enormous humanitarian crisis since the outbreak of violence in Manipur. Families have been displaced from their ancestral homes, villages have been destroyed, livelihoods shattered, and civilians have lived for years with fear, insecurity and uncertainty. The suffering of ordinary people must never be reduced to political arguments or dismissed without an impartial examination of evidence.
If the allegations contained in these recordings are found to be true, accountability must reach every person responsible, regardless of political position, office, influence or affiliation. At the same time, anyone falsely accused must also have the protection of a fair and evidence-based investigation. Justice must be established through facts, forensic evidence and the rule of law.
We are not asking for revenge. We are demanding justice, truth and accountability.
The Supreme Court of India and investigating agencies must ensure that potentially significant evidence is neither suppressed nor prematurely rejected. The alleged recordings should be independently authenticated and investigated by competent experts. The victims and survivors of the Kuki-Zo community deserve to know what happened, who was responsible, and why accountability has remained so difficult to achieve.
Justice for the victims.
Justice for the displaced.
Justice for the families who continue to suffer.
Justice through an impartial investigation.
Justice without political interference.
The struggle of the Kuki-Zo community must not be forgotten. Truth must prevail, evidence must be examined, and justice must arrive—through lawful, independent and transparent proceedings.

DAY 17/30 — 30 DAYS VIRTUAL PROTEST | JUSTICE, TRUTH & ACCOUNTABILITY
Seventeen days have passed in our 30 Days Virtual Protest, yet the fundamental questions surrounding the alleged Biren Singh audio recordings remain unanswered.
This is not a demand for political revenge. It is a demand for truth, transparency, due process and justice.
If the complete and original recordings exist, the public deserves to know whether they were examined in their entirety—not merely through selected clips. If there are conflicting forensic findings, why has the matter not been resolved through a transparent, independent and credible examination? Were independent forensic experts given a genuine opportunity to examine the original material and verify its authenticity?
Most importantly, if the recordings contain information relevant to allegations surrounding the violence in Manipur, why should their contents remain buried beneath political controversy?
The people affected by the conflict have the right to ask these questions.
How many lives must be lost before evidence is examined seriously?
How many families must remain displaced before accountability is addressed?
How many communities must continue living with fear before the truth is established?
The suffering of civilians cannot become a forgotten chapter. Allegations of killings, displacement, destruction of homes and attacks on communities must be addressed through impartial investigation and evidence-based justice, regardless of who is accused or which community is affected.
We therefore appeal to the Supreme Court of India to ensure that every legally relevant piece of evidence connected with the Manipur violence—including any authentic audio recordings—is examined through a transparent, independent and scientifically credible process.
We also urge the Central Government, Ministry of Home Affairs, investigating agencies and constitutional authorities to ensure that no evidence is suppressed, selectively interpreted or allowed to disappear from public accountability.
Justice cannot be selective.
Truth cannot be buried.
Evidence must be examined.
Victims deserve answers.
Accountability must prevail.
This virtual protest will continue.
DAY 17/30.
WE WILL NOT BE SILENT.
WE WILL NOT FORGET.
WE WILL CONTINUE TO DEMAND TRUTH, JUSTICE AND ACCOUNTABILITY.

☮️THE MYTH OF NEUTRALITY:
How the Tangkhul-led NSCN (Muivah) exploited Manipur Crisis, with a larger goal to destabilise Northeast & wage war against India.
■The facade of neutrality or Non-alignment was shattered when the @NIA_India chargesheet in march 7 2024 expoosed that the "China-Myanmar module" of NSCN (Muivah) under the leadership of Hangshi Tangkhul & Absilom Tangkhul supplied Terrorist grade weapons & sent cadres of Mynamar based Meitei Terrorists to infiltrate India in order to escalate the ethnic unrest in Manipur & carry out terrorist attacks in India, with a larger goal to destabilise Northeast & wage a war against the Govt of India.
■But as the President's Rule threatened to freeze the Meitei-Kuki conflict into a static gridlock which deprived the NSCN-IM of the chaos necessary to fuel its secessionist ambitions, Th Muivah & the Tangkhul leadership of NSCN-IM engineered a horizontal expansion of the conflict by exploiting ethnic identities & weaponizing the Tangkhul youths. This calculated provocation was maneuvered to forcibly drag the Manipur Nagas into the theater of war, effectively escalating a localized, bilateral ethnic clash into a multi-front regional threat.
■The Govt of India had the foresight to recognize that the NSCN-IM's premeditated Abduction, Mutilation & brutal Execution of 2 Kuki civilians on March 11 was not an isolated crime, but a strategically engineered provocation to destabilize NE & plunged the region into a dangerous cycle of retaliatory abductions & violence with far fetching "National Ramifications."
■Acknowledging that the NSCN-IM had deliberately orchestrated this Tangkhul-Kuki conflict, a fact definitively established by the Manipur Police investigation (17 march), the Ministrt of Home Affairs (Counter Terrorism & Counter Radicalization Division) characterizing the NSCN-IM as a "Terrorist Gang" issued an order declaring the incident a "Scheduled Offence" with "National Ramifications" & mandated the NIA to assume full control of the investigation to uncover the broader conspiracy.
🚨By doing so, the GoI elevated the case of the kidnapping & murder from a local law-and-order into the realm of National Security & Terrorism.
■On March 17, 2026, Ukhrul's SP, Babitarani Swain (IPS), submitted a formal investigative progress report to the DGP of Manipur. The Police investigation definitively established that the NSCN-IM planned & executed the abductions & Murders. Consequently, the state invoked anti-terror legislation, incorporating Sections 16, 18 & 20 of UAPA into the case.
■In July 2023, barely 70 days after the Violence in Manipur broke out, six people including an inspector of the Nagaland Police, an NSCN-IM leader & four others were arrested for stealing ammunition from the state police armoury. The ammunition looted was to be sent to neighbouring Manipur.
■In Aug 2023, H Khosiivei Lovingson Roah, a cadre of NSCN-IM confessed that the NSCN-IM was actively supplying Terrorist grades weapons to Meitei Terrorists groups in Imphal & also dispatching 15 well-trained NSCN(IM) fighters to Manipur to join the Meiteis in the fight against the Kukis.
■The Tangkhul-led NSCN-IM treated the tragedy of Manipur not as a humanitarian crisis to be avoided, but as a geopolitical target of opportunity. By financing Meitei Terrorists, deploying active combatants & fabricating ethnic flashpoints, they systematically sabotaged peace to advance a singular, treasonous agenda: prolonging regional bloodletting to build leverage for their stalling secessionist war against the Indian Union.

The reported incident at PG Nursing Home in Churachandpur District today, where Central security personnel are alleged to have attempted to apprehend a sick Kuki civilian while he was sleeping and receiving medical treatment, is deeply disturbing and strongly condemned at the highest level.
The manner in which the Central forces allegedly entered or acted inside a hospital and attempted to take a sick and vulnerable civilian into custody raises serious questions about human dignity, medical ethics, proportionality and the protection of civilian rights. A hospital is a place where sick and injured people should be able to receive treatment without fear, intimidation or unnecessary force.
The Kuki community strongly condemns any action that humiliates, frightens or endangers an innocent civilian who is under medical care. If the individual was genuinely suspected of any offence, the authorities must follow due process of law and deal with the matter professionally and humanely. Being sick and asleep in a hospital cannot be treated as justification for unnecessary force or intimidation.
This incident is particularly concerning because the Kuki community continues to raise serious concerns over attacks on Kuki ancestral villages and civilians allegedly involving armed groups such as the NSCN Eastern Flank, NSCN-IM, ZUF (Kamson Group), Shan National Army and Myanmar-based armed elements. The public has a legitimate right to ask why vulnerable civilians receiving medical treatment are being subjected to such actions while allegations concerning armed perpetrators and attacks on villages demand equally urgent and effective investigation.
We therefore urgently appeal to the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, senior Central security authorities, Government of Manipur and the concerned command leadership to immediately investigate this incident. The available video footage should be examined carefully, the personnel involved should be identified, and the exact circumstances leading to the alleged action at PG Nursing Home must be established.
If the investigation confirms that Central personnel acted unlawfully, used excessive force or violated the dignity and rights of a hospital patient, appropriate disciplinary action must be taken against those responsible. The concerned Central force and its command leadership should also issue an appropriate apology to the affected civilian, his family and the Kuki community.
This is not a demand against national security or against the legitimate duties of security forces. It is a demand for professional conduct, accountability, equal protection and respect for human dignity.
The same determination shown in dealing with ordinary civilians must also be demonstrated in investigating and pursuing those accused of attacking Kuki villages, burning ancestral homes and killing civilians. No armed group and no security personnel should be above the law.
The incident at PG Nursing Home is unacceptable if the reported conduct is confirmed. A sick civilian sleeping in a hospital must not be treated like an enemy combatant. A hospital must remain a place of healing, not fear.
We demand an immediate, impartial and transparent investigation, accountability for any wrongdoing, and an assurance that such an incident will not be repeated.
Protect civilians. Respect patients. Uphold the Constitution. Apply the law equally.
