I don’t even think this is a bad thing, the lack of vision for Halo the last 10 years is astounding. There is so much expanded lore that deserve a game adaptation. The fact we haven’t seen a contained story similar to Reach/ODST is beyond me. Do that before a remake in my opinion

@jdchicagogaming they're not in negotiations to shut down, but xbox is very, very, very heavily evaluating how halo is run. and some of these cutbacks revolve in allocating resources towards fixing halo.

@amitisinvesting I think there’s only 2 real threats:

1) The government forces Micron to try and expand capacity further as an attempt to address complaints of technology pricing. Or they force a ceiling on contract pricing.

2) The hyperscalers determine the ROI isn’t there and reduce spending

@Generalkidd @ThelVadam224 Are the texture pop in and out issues resolved? To be specific in October, you could see the lights on the elite cutscene popping up to half a second later on cuts. There are a few other examples, I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. Would be nice to know if that’s improved

@pooldude2 No, it can’t and won’t last forever. Not that I have a crystal ball but *eventually* they’ll be required to cut spending and continue to grow the money supply during that. Probably gigantic economic damage whenever that time comes
