@Delta you don't have allowances for bereavement? Original ticket is $1,707. I only want to change the city of departure so I can attend my mother's funeral. The change is an additional $1,986 to sit in one of the dozens of available coach seats??!??

@Delta I'm not asking to purchase a bereavement flight. I already have a flight. All I want to do is change the city of departure (keeping the return the same). I'd like to get a discounted change fee... maybe something totaling 15-20% of the original ticket cost??
