It’s gotta be one of these three:
Either Laporta secretly sold Lamine Yamal to PSG and officially lost his mind,
Or he inherited Hansi Flick’s entire family fortune after his father passed away and spent it on signings just to make Flick stay with us,
Or he took Christensen, sold all his organs and said: ‘Instead of giving him one injury every season so I can register another player, I’ll use him personally to strengthen the squad.’ 😭💀
Tiap ada isu tentang ranking, kampus, dan kuantifikasi, maka teringat studi klasik dari Wendy Espeland tentang ranking dan recreating social world.

‘Morality is physics. An exact knowledge of natural things.’
This is one of my favourite quotes from Michel Serres.
And when you understand "nature" as Serres does, you see that this by no means implies a reductive materialism.

Next one’s for the cat…
Imagine if citizens voted on what academics who work at public universities should study, and then we received random assignments based on that. That seems like a much better system than what we have now. 80% of the stuff no one cares about, particularly in the humanities.
1. Bruno Latour's doctoral thesis, as we know, was defended at Tours University in 1975. Less well-known is that is was under the supervision of theologian Claude Bruaire.

God bless you, Andy Abbott 😂
