For example, Coca Cola has a hashtag ##ShareACoke, and this is a personalized marketing campaign where people could find Coca-Cola bottles with their names and share them on social media. This is great marketing and community engagement for their customers. @RetailPro369
In lecture 9, I learned how you can reach a wider audience by using relevant hashtags to link your content to people who are searching for it but are not following you. This visibility is important for growing making your brand/audience more recognized online. @RetailPro369
@RetailPro369 In Lecture 7 a new topic I learned bout was earned media. It's the most effective for a firm to enjoy the benefits of earned media and brand exposure. Some examples are customer reviews, content shares, social media interactions, and news mentions.

This TikTok is a very popular influencer, Alix Earle promoting a company, Blooms. This is a great example of earned media because having influencers post drinking their product draws everybody's attention to wanting to try this drink.

I think social media without a community would not be as big of a thing or as important as it is in today's world. All social media platforms I think do a good job making a strong community!
I found very interesting that when it came to social media marketing, the goal is to not focus on generating sales it is more focused on building a community because without a brand community you will not see a growth in sales. Community is everything @RetailPro369
@Lucindamooore21@RetailPro369 I think this post is very beneficial! I also find that very interesting because I never knew that before learning about social media marketing in our class.
Dunkin is a great example of a company doing a good job engaging with consumers. Another company that does a good job is McDonald's. Since they have been around for years it could be easy for it to get "old", but they do a great job making new things and creating a fun atmosphere
I really do not think so! Each brand has a personalized approach to social media, and that is why they are successful. I will say, the more trendy and fun companies are, like Dunkin for example, do get a lot of engagement on their platforms because how relatable they are.
@andrewgergley12 I really enjoyed reading your post, I feel it was very beneficial. The example of Dunkin was spot on. I totally agree that Dunkin likes to engage with their audience and likes to grab everyones attention with fun, trendy ads.
@RetailPro369 For the Fenti Beauty ad the target buy persona is someone who is very into makeup and is on the go that wants something quick and easy but effective.
I really like this post because I think this is great advertising in one of the busiest cities in the world. Including Barbie in their collab will draw a lot of attention, and make people want to purchase this.

This ad is a great example of a conative strategy. It is calling customers back every Tuesday to place orders to get an additional pizza free. It is genius advertising! Usually these are introduced only for a limited period of time which creates a sense of urgency.@RetailPro369
From Lecture 5, a major topic we went over was conative strategy. This Designed to encourage customers to take action, and wanting to promote impulse buys. Conative messaging serves as the final call to action that draws a standing ovation.

A good example of a brand is Coca-Cola. They use IMC by having a mass media methodology, which basically includes TV advertising (commercials), print media, and banner ads. @RetailPro369
Lecture 4: IMC planning process all begins with research. The process of planning the uses of various promotional-mix elements is effectively communicating with their target audiences. overall, it builds a stronger connection between the consumer and the provider.@RetailPro369
SKIMS have run advertisements that include people of all ethnicities, races, shapes, sizes, and even disabilities. They truly are a brand that stand on bringing women together and creating a community amongst their buyers. @RetailPro369
@AngelaRusso369@RetailPro369 Hi! I agree on how inclusive the brand SKIMS is. I love that you included this brand has a good significance on the impact of women and how it creates a very welcoming community.

@mariahjclark@RetailPro369 Asking “why?” is so important for brands! Brands must find meaning behind their actions, it can’t be only profit. Also love this graphic!
