Yesterday, @PennsylvaniaDEP Air Quality Technical Advisory Committee met to discuss EPA's finalized methane rules and the requirements for Pennsylvania's state implementation plan. Methane is responsible for nearly 30% of the climate change that we are already experiencing.

@GovernorShapiro and @PennsylvaniaDEP should treat the new federal EPA methane rules as a floor, and not a ceiling by creating the strongest state plan possible to protect communities and the land.

Next time someone complains about how much land is needed by solar, point out that powering entire US for all purposes with PV replaces 1.24% of US land used for corn ethanol and 1.3% of US land used by fossil industry with 0.7% of land used for PV, part of which can go on roofs.
