🥳 Congratulations to Clement Lanfranchi and Anastasiya Kuznyetsova! These two individuals were presented with JAPPL-sponsored awards by APS President Dr. Sue Bodine for their research presented at the 2026 @BiochemExercise meeting. Photo by @FralinBiomed.
Just got home after 3 amazing days of exercise science in Roanoke for the @BiochemExercise conference - It was fantastic!
The cherry on top: I was awarded the @APSPhysiology Data Blast Presentation award! 🏆
Huge thanks to @zhenlab and the IBEC committee for the organisation
Recent #research by @clemlanf and colleagues observed that oleuropein-based olive leaf extract enhances #muscle mitochondrial #bioenergetics response to moderate – but not maximal – intensity #exercise in humans 💊 🚴

@Nicolas_Place1 @unilsport In this study we observed that prefatiguing the VL induced compensatory activity from synergist muscles and reduced the time to task failure during a submaximal contraction to failure. However it did not affect the extent and origin of induced fatigue.
Our study: « Effect of prior NMES of vastus lateralis on the fatigue induced by a sustained voluntary knee extension in men » is just out in JEK ! ⚡️💪🏻

Congrats to @clemlanf and colleagues for this new publication 👏 ! Data collected in Dijon... Some time ago... @unilsport

Another step forward in understanding the specific mechanisms of Repeated Sprint Training in Hypoxia (RSH) when compared to normoxia.
Activation of an S100A/Akt pathway
Congrats to all but particularly @clemlanf@skierwillie & @NadegeZanou 🙏👏

What are the mechanisms underlying repeated sprint training in hypoxia (RSH) as compared to normoxia ?
In this new study, we highlight the activation of a pathway involving S100A proteins family in skeletal muscle💪🚴

Always a great experience to attend @E_C_S_S congress ! Really nice presentations from various fields in sport sciences and I also had the great opportunity to share insights ️into skeletal muscle adaptations to repeated sprint training in hypoxia 🗻#RSH !
