As if nothing more needs to be said. I’ve heard the same from Parliamentarians.
It’s a good argument, individual choice matters, but does it outweigh everything else?

@Molly2323232323@parthaskar Exactly. Doctors won't understand in depth the particular spectrum of knowledge and skills of other professions. All professional individuals are accountable to the standards of their own profession.
Supervision of non-professionals would be a task involving significant resource
I have retired from seeing patients now but most days I think about it
I think about what I got wrong.
Usually in the diagnosis
Diagnosis is difficult. Algorithms pick up common presentations. Rarely is this real life.
This is why training, experience and supervision are vital
During the week I sat for an hour with a man who has terminal cancer. He can no longer swallow and he knows he doesn't have long, but his brain is fine. He was full of praise for his palliative care team. He has very little pain, can breathe well, doesn't have any nausea now. 1/4
