@ShitValueFund So you enjoy the benefits of living in Australia, but prefer someone else pays for that, like the firefighters and the teachers. Weird flex.
Today I'm publishing a new essay, Policy on the AI Exponential. AI is progressing extremely fast—much faster than the policy process was built to handle. The essay lays out where I think the technology is now, and the action needed to close the gap: https://t.co/Lh6PWae178
@Steve_Yegge I wonder how many amazing new products will be released in the next few months. I’m guessing getting costumes for so these amazing products will be the harder item than building them
ClickedOn is now on the National AI Centre's AI Directory.
A map of Australian businesses building actual AI capability. Good company to be in.

@gregisenberg I export and copy the URLs into grok and then get a summary and also run it through my Claude Code setup for enhancements to my product and harness. That works well for me every three months or so
@cjoye It’s also $12k tax paid on $60k profit in your example. I agree with your point on not increasing CGT on investments and the poor implementation of the changes though
If you're managing your company's Google Ads account, here are some agency tips from how we run ours.
Many accounts I audit use 2 to 3 ad extensions. We run 8 minimum on every campaign. Extensions are free SERP real estate that pushes competitors below the fold. Use them.
What we do in every account:
Sitelinks: 6 minimum, refreshed quarterly, tied to actual landing page intent
Callouts: 4 unique per ad group, not account-wide
Structured snippets: always use "Services" or "Brands", they have the highest CTR lift in our data
Account level extensions are lazy. Ad group extensions is where the CTR gains live.
@PolymarketMoney The issue with a technology company buying a consultancy service is buyers know they will recommend their own product, regardless if it’s the best solution. Our agentic integration uses different LLMs and providers based on which is best for that specific function.
@fortelabs Beautiful post. I bet that kind of deep self insight will lead to some amazing things coming into your life this year. Keen to hear what happens
@gaetano_nyc I’m seeing the same trend in Australia. Even seeing an increase in SEO/GEO as it’s one of the easiest AI wins for C levels that they know will have positive ROI.
