Breaking: After reading all the conspiracy theories, I can finally reveal the truth.
PPP won Gilgit-Baltistan because I wanted the GB government as my birthday present. 🎂😂
Sorry to disappoint the analysts.
Congratulations to PPP 😊🇵🇰
Now please take good care of Gilgit-Baltistan, the people there want development. Let's not ignore it like Karachi. It's time to transform Gilgit-Baltistan like Punjab and Inshallah, It will happen. All the best, PPP! 👍🏼
After GB election, the usual bunch of big talkers will require a new punching bag to cope with their inferiority complex.
Now that PTI is in the box, and PPP has won outside Sindh, get some therapy. Try a zipped mouth for at least a week before finding a new punching bag.
The sacrifices made by PML-N for the stability of the state will never go in vain. The unwavering commitment to safeguarding national interests stands as a testament to resilience and history will remember these efforts as a defining force in strengthening the nation’s future! 🇵🇰
Youthias are ecstatic that PML-N didn't win in GB. They're supporting PPP, a party that is just as incompetent as their own. It only shows how much they hate PML-N and how allergic they are to performance and good governance.
PM Shehbaz Sharif congratulated the people of Gilgit-Baltistan on peaceful and transparent elections, praised PPP as the majority party, appreciated PML-N candidates for their strong effort, and commended voters, Election Commission, and security forces for ensuring a fair and democratic process. A true democratic era for Pakistan! 🇵🇰
They did not ‘make PPP win the GB elections’.
PPP is extremely popular in GB and has done decently well in the region (and has popular figures in the elections).
Just like no one else in the country will vote for JI but Karachiites will, GB peeps will vote for (non-wadera) PPP.
The people of Gilgit-Baltistan have delivered a clear democratic verdict in a fiercely contested yet transparent election. Regardless of who forms the government, democracy is the true winner here, reflecting a politically mature electorate prioritizing development and service delivery.
The diverse results provide a striking proof of a level playing field. With PPP securing 11 seats, PML N taking 7, PTI and MWM winning 1 each, alongside 4 independents, this is one of the most competitive assemblies in recent GB history.
This outcome proves no single party owns the electorate. Voters who backed PTI in 2020 have shown they will pivot when expectations are not met. Furthermore, the success of independents highlights that local credibility and constituency service often matter more than party labels.
GB has once again demonstrated its tradition of holding incumbents accountable and rewarding those who represent local interests. The incoming government now faces the vital task of delivering on its promises.
The meltdown after PPP’s victory in Gilgit-Baltistan says more about the losers than the winners. One claims it was a “deal,” another says the result was to “save the state,” while others insult the people of GB by suggesting they voted only because they don’t have enough internet to see social media propaganda.
The truth is simple: the people of Gilgit-Baltistan made their own democratic choice. Instead of disrespecting their mandate with conspiracy theories, learn to accept defeat with dignity. Elections are won through public support, not Twitter trends.
