📣 ATTN: CASPR November 2023 Update📣
We have surpassed 1,000 patients! Outstanding work to all! 👏🏼
Special thanks to all who have served our country so that this work may be possible, and so that we may learn how to individualize patient care with #stroke.
@NickMurray_@mtbendermd@dylanwolman Looks much more like a stenosis than an embolic occlusion. If there are acute basilar stroke symptoms, would guess intracranial dissection first given the trauma, but ICAD would be statistically much more likely.
Age?
Dual Antiplatelet Therapy (DAPT) vs Alteplase for Minor Nondisabling AIS #ARAMIS
In patients with minor, nondisabling stroke within 4.5h, DAPT was noninferior vs IV alteplase re 90-day excellent outcome (mRS 0-1).

**CASPR January 2023 update**
Lots of progress over the past month! 👏🏼 👏🏼Thank you to all the site PIs and the coordinators who do so much heavy lifting!! 💪
Looking forward to a full day of scientific exchange on the most recent updates in Atrial Fibrillation #AFib_Disease on February 7th, 2023 in Dallas, TX: The Annual Multidisciplinary @NeuroAFib meeting @norocardiology@ShadiYaghi2@MitchElkind https://t.co/xWLhTerD4c
We are thrilled to have our work on MRI utilization for #stroke patients with CIEDs (pacemakers, ICDs, etc) published this week in @Neurohosp. Despite proven safety, MRI is heavily underutilized in this important stroke subpopulation 🧠🫀 https://t.co/khpeozfaPW
Time to learn about the latest and greatest stroke research at #ISC21! Honored to have a poster this year on MRI utilization in stroke patients with CIEDs: https://t.co/rxgyZuAPTo @StrokeAHA_ASA@AHAMeetings
