Just Shipped: Flue 1.0 Beta
Flue is the TypeScript framework for building the next generation of agents, designed around an open agent harness with zero LLM lock-in. It’s like Astro, for agents.
Flue 1.0 has been redesigned around three core primitives:
🔁 Workflows — structured automations designed for background work, where your code drives the agent from start to finish.
🧭 Agents (New!) — autonomous, stateful loops where the model drives itself to complete a given task.
📡 Channels (New!) — connect agents to Slack, GitHub, Linear, Discord, Teams, and more. Flue handles the boilerplate for you.
Everything shares the same durable foundation, powered internally by Pi, Vite, and Durable Streams. Deploy anywhere, use any LLM, and recover running agents across restarts and downtime.
We’ve talked to a lot of teams building agents, and keep hearing the same thing: getting to production is hard work. We built Flue to help change that.
Flue 1.0 Beta is available today. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
check their docs on how to update the infra
⎿ Context limit reached · /compact or /clear to continue
❯ /compact
⎿ Error: Error during compaction: API Error: Usage credits required for 1M context

@bcherny why does this keep happening??
I'm running with Sonnet 4.6
```check their docs on how to update the infra
⎿ API Error: Usage credits required for 1M context · run /usage-credits to turn
them on, or /model to switch to standard context```
I'm not at any limit
@shadcn is the new registry feature also usable with a private repo? I want to create a registry to distribute some specific files and skills that we need to keep private, but from the docs it says it has to be a public repo? Can we not use a private repo?
🎉 Big news: Node.js is changing its release schedule for the first time in 10 years.
From October 2026, less to remember and easier to know what's Current or LTS.
Here's everything you need to know 🧵👇
We have improved the SQL editor experience for the local version of Supabase.
The SQL snippets will now be stored inside the supabase/snippets directory, which you can commit to git and share across teams, or add them to .gitignore, your choice.
@heyandras Spinning up a server at hetzner for zot registry and using hetzner s3 would give you cheapest option including bandwidth. Zot is open source so perfect for self hosting a registry. Been using it for about 8 months now, no problems at all. Comes with a nice simple web ui as well.
@mattpocockuk It's just Claude business pushing as html eats more tokens then MD, so more money for anthropic simple as that. Sometimes html makes more sense, most of the time MD still better. So far there is no one-rule-for-all. Just useless debates. People just use what feel best.
@shadcn Might want to try soloterm from @aarondfrancis. I'm also test driving it and it has a scratchpad and todos and an MCP and many nice other features.
@MrAhmadAwais Burn baby burn 🎶 ... I mean burn tokens burn. It's so obvious they do anything to make us consume more instead of making the process more efficient. That's their business model. More tokens, more money.
