@1noeloconnor@2_darragh Possibly, I know coops are worried about supply. Heard of one coop bringing in land mobility to get land to younger farmers. But also heard a story of a coop who has taken a few kerry suppliers refusing to take on more at the moment
@1noeloconnor@2_darragh Wishful thinking, they're very cautious about taking on each others suppliers. You have to remember they're all processing milk for each other at different times
@jackharnett1@SeanSheehanBA Hurling analysis from most media is brutal. No actual analysis of tactics or how the game played out on the field. Just telling stories and made personal opinions of the game . I need to have a listen to Jamie
@Joedev1956@Hylo67 Whole thing is a joke Paul. How the politicians or activists expect farmers to take what they say seriously I dont know.
This 'green desert' thing puzzles me, I just can't see it.
Switch off and plough on is the plan here
@colmandeely@conormulv What is the definition of the green desert Colman? We don't have any field here exclusively ryegrass and there is a tree/hedge in your eye line every second of the day
@darrensheehyifa@IFAmedia@SS_Lavery Training day? I heard it was a PR day, telling the delegates of all the work the IFA is doing and how the members should appreciate them more!
@hqmulligan No wonder we can't get new blood in farming. What are we expecting, someone to come and bail the contractors out? Someone to give us a milk price top up out of the goodness of their heart? Farmers are always facing challenges, we'll get through this one too
@hqmulligan Hannah, I listened back to countrywide this morning. I thought it was all very negative. You never discussed the joy Bertie got from his job over the years and you asked Pat was there more positivity back when milk price was 20cent! Where's the positivity?
@padraigoconno20@LICIreland I ordered in November too. Got majority of the semen a month ago just short a few. I've always had late deliveries but didn't matter as I had plenty in the pot but this year seems worse than usual. V frustrating
@lpearsemoran@CallananDarragh@DingleHolsteins The EPA don't have the man power for the current number of licences being applied for in other agri sectors (very small numbers) a lot of money and recruitment required to make this happen
