@FrGeorgeReeves I'm personally not a fan of the PM or indeed any of the political class having a say over it to be frank, it should be a matter for the Church itself provided the Church abides by the law set by Parliament.
Liberal Democrats get things done. We don’t do division. We do potholes and police officers, church roofs and clean rivers.
We focus on the local issues that matter to you.
Vote Liberal Democrat on 7th May.
I've just turned my phone on after Yom Kippur, when like many British Jews I go out of digital contact. I've just felt a visceral shock of such terrible news. My thoughts and prayers with all affected in Manchester. We cannot allow division and hatred to rule. I'm proudly British, my family have been in the UK for many generations. I believe this is one of the great tolerant societies that revels in, and should be proud of, freedom of worship for all, Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus and more. These individuals seeking to divide us will not win. We must not let them.
Screen grab so as to not endorse this. Seriously how on earth is this an administration that we want closer links with? Or indeed feel we can trust to stick to any deal at all when the rule of their own law means so little to them?
I've decided to take on a new challenge this Summer and do a Marathon.... Ok walk a Marathon but for someone as out of shape as i am currently that's still quite a challenge.

This is what inclusive Britain looks like.
Christians , Jews and Muslims all celebrating at the heart of our democracy ❤️
So proud of my parliamentary colleagues @APPGBritMuslims now in its 9th year for yet another fantastic event
The group continues to convene, advocate and provide high quality events and publications celebrating British Muslims and raising the challenges they face.
This has always been a cross party parliamentary group and I hope all mainstream parties remain committed to it.
The recent rise in populism and intolerant ideologies across the world must not be allowed to take hold in one of the oldest democracies in the world. ❤️
1. I don’t often tweet about my personal life, but on 1st November, my mum Jane was hit by a large vehicle as a pedestrian in St. Louis, USA. She suffered a severe brain injury & remains in a coma in hospital.
Here's Jane & me in happier times.
I wish I'd achieved more in my first 100 days. It took Liz Truss only half this time to wreck the economy, double everyone's mortgage and resign. By this point Boris Johnson had lied to The Queen, illegally prorogued Parliament and lost 15 votes in the Commons.
I think you’re confusing an amalgamated mess of assertions with facts. A platform that prioritises ‘2+2=5’ over ‘2+2=4’ because it gets more clicks, is not a reliable source of truth.
Known Fact 1, Taylor Swift is playing at Wembley Stadium. Known Fact 2 between 4pm and 6pm is the busiest time on @TfL as people go home from work. Known Fact 3 Swifties will want to travel to the concert on these services. Why have @TfL reduced the number of trains?
@TfL please explain how the next jubilee line train being in 11 minutes from London Bridge during rush hour = no service disruption announcement and a "Good Service". Could you please at least be honest that there is an option so people can make an informed decision re traveling.
By the way, no way am I leaving Twitter. This place is like a lovely pub, that got taken over by some soulless pub company and with a full on wazzock as a new landlord. But I was here first and I’m staying.
Glad to know we can rely on information sent out by the parliamentary Authorities... It's not like accuracy is important for the body that sets the LAW...
I do wish the BBC would stop calling the prime minister’s wife “Lady Victoria”. That’s not the form. She’s just Victoria, or “Lady Starmer”. He got a knighthood from his job, he wasn’t born an aristocrat, which seems quite an important distinction for a Labour leader.
