I can’t wait for the future where all the prompting experts complain about people using direct neural connections to generate images.
They’ll tell everyone it’s cheating, that the output lacks something because a human didn’t have to translate their thoughts into a prompt first.
Do you know what NASA has inside these spheres?
Nothing.
They’re vacuum spheres which are used to generate the pressure drop to drive Langley’s hypersonic wind tunnels.
NASA also operates the Space Power Facility the largest ‘nothing’ on earth.
Nobody beats NASA at nothing.
Starship is preparing to go to orbit. Flight 14 is targeting to launch as early as Tuesday, September 22, pending regulatory approval → https://t.co/LwJ4g6dg9v
Yes, this result cost millions of dollars.
But remember that when @OpenAI announced o3 it cost ~$500,000 to score 87.5% on ARC-AGI 1. Today, Astra scores higher for ~$20.
In 2025 it took us and GDM an enormous amount of compute to achieve IMO gold. For the 2026 IMO, anyone with a $20/month ChatGPT subscription could do it.
Massively scaling test-time compute gives us a glimpse of the future. I believe that a year from now everyone will have an AI at their fingertips capable of solving problems of this caliber.
FSD 14.3.8 Is absolutely incredible! @Tesla_AI team has created magic on wheels. Tesla changed what I thought a car should be, FSD has changed how I think about just going places. No more stress, it's just gone.
FSD and the release of the cybercab you guys are entering your iphone moment, and you deserve every second of it! ❤️❤️
Roman is on her way. 🚀
Years of work, extraordinary engineering, and one incredible launch.
Congratulations to the entire @NASA team and our partners who made this mission possible. The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is about to open an entirely new window into our universe.
SpaceX engineers spent several days inspecting Ship 40 in the waters off Christmas Island. They collected heatshield samples and gained vital insight into how the vehicle handled reentry with improvements now planned on future vehicles
Just passed by a group of people protesting data centers in a town where we aren’t even building any data centers.
Tech leaders have botched this narrative and PR in epic fashion.
@KeeslerThe@misraetel@quasicoh@theojaffee Dr. Mike is right when AI companies don't cut corners and build data centers in ways that benefit their communities. My point is these companies need to take their PR seriously if they want to continue this build out.
@quasicoh@theojaffee@misraetel I see, my guess is because it just hasn't really happened yet. While the environmental issues have. A data center in your community can be a great thing if done correctly, but some didn't and that opened the door for criticism.
Let me put it simpler: AI companies have done nothing to suede or correct people's opinions. They let investors and companies push this narrative of job killers because it gets them more funding.
They have not cared about the opinions of regular people because that doesn't secure funding. But unfortunately regular people are retarded and vote.
These ai companies have done nothing to prove their worth to normal people outside of boomer ai slop. Their messaging has been give us money so we can eliminate people's jobs.
I'm sure china is pushing this narrative some, but how did companies whose sole purpose is intelligence deliver such retarded messaging...
