Giving a #SipperForStan - that assumes the citizen in custody has a jail-acquired NEW disability.

But Fr Stan Swamy's sipper was taken away @satejp ! Why? On what grounds? Taking away an assistive aid is an assault on individual autonomy and RPDA violation

Assistive aids are not 1 size fits all - the world of disability is one of diversity. They're often customised to the specific needs of the disabled individual. Separating a disabled person from their assistive product, further limits & disables them robbing them of independence.
