When I was depressed & suicidal in 2017, my close male friends would come home to keep me company. They'd do my laundry, my dishes, wash my house and open the curtains for me. None even knew what depression was, but they knew I was down and needed help. Their love lifted me.

Anyway, my cat almost immediately came over and curled up in my lap when I started crying. I'm convinced she can communicate with Scout's spirit, because that's exactly what he would have done. 💕

Why is visiting to Ohio always a drama? It's never just a fun or relaxing time. Instead I get to battle allergy spikes, constant anxiety & mini depressive episodes, all while feeling incapable of being myself.
I know the answer. The cause is often the same as the reason to visit.

At what point do you feel like your lows aren't too much for your partner? Like he makes me so fucking happy, but life still pulls me down sometimes. I'm so scared my lows are too much for him. Or worse, I'll pull him down too.
I want him to be happy. With or without me.
