@stevencmutter A similar use case is volumetric video capture of the elderly telling stories of their childhood & life experiences. See also: “Medal of Honor” capture of veterans.
The tech isn’t easily accessible just yet but we will get there.
@anjin_games I’ve been following your work, very impressive. I was musing on the bizarre places you can find things like Linux and thought you’d get a kick out of a shader port. Keep up the good work.
@slimcargo @RobertJALA@PaulTassi@Forbes Paraphrasing your other tweet:
“If you don’t have something positive to say about [VR]…please don’t reply to me. Kinda done with all that. Let’s just have some fun. [Supernatural] is going to take my life over soon 🤦♂️.” 🤷🏼♂️

@SpatialApe@danielsisson 100% this. Doesn’t help that Unity kept/keeps changing XR support. Would leverage existing platforms like AltspaceVR except the frame rate is too low, extensibility disallows (real) scripts and no governance options.
Would love a leg up on bootstrapping the basics. It seems
@SpatialApe@danielsisson It is less about licensing and mostly about democratic governance, giving users a meaningful say in how a platform is run and for/by whom decisions are made.
What motivates the move to (F)OSS for SA?
@BitcoinRadiolo1@ntnsndr First I apologize for the snark in my reply. That never helps and is very unlike me. We can probably agree that centralizing power/money is problematic.
Behind every solidity program is a human. Unless they use formal methods to verify the code you are still trusting humans.
@BitcoinRadiolo1@ntnsndr In my view cooperation is fundamentally based on high trust relationships with *people* at the center. If money, systems and transactional relationships are your bag, you do you. 🤷🏼♂️
