@GMB My son has SEN currently attends an alternative provision because there are no school places available to him. He had one but the LA pulled his place and funding without informing us I’m met by radio silence from the LA and I know I’m far from the only one in Worcestershire

@peterrhague @elonmusk @boringcompany This is a 20+ year old idea that I first came across in the @TheSun newspaper around the 2000’s and it wasn’t to tunnel but to have a tethered tube at I think 100m’s or at a depth where ocean currents are minimal, and I remember the article saying it would have to be whale proof

@DailyLoud Nothing new here this idea was flagged in the @TheSun newspaper around the 2000’s They did a 2 page spread on it and although it might be technically possible it was said that the we were far from having the manufacturing volume required.
