Just wrote my first ever blog post on my approach to faking pixel art. Talks about blender, how I constrain an image to a color palette, finding closest matches with Oklab, and dithering.

@OldeWorldOrder Video is misleading, tries to frame lawyer's advice as directly tied to the comment about the Rothschild family bc conspiracy theories.
Comments about the Rothschilds are at 1:10:35 and again at 2:11:15. The whispered advice from the lawyer is at 4:25:04

themes are art. editing JSON files to make them? not exactly a vibe.
Learn why theming is hard to get right, and why we built the Zed Theme Builder: https://t.co/5v82HOmrd0
then go make something beautiful ✨
@techsalesguy Hate door to door sales but if someone pulled up with a fresh steamy pizza and asked if I've had anything for lunch yet, I'd certainly fold.
@poetengineer__ Are we talking about website analytics tools here? It's not user exposed, but marketers and user experience researchers very carefully trace all of these paths.
@JulieMarieRD Looking for a religious painting for a friends wedding gift and I was disgusted by this situation on Amazon. Tons of ai-generated biblical scenes and Jesus portraits. Impossible to find anything with the name of the artist in the description.
Petition to move the legislative process to GitHub. I wanna see git diffs and blames, draft PRs and release candidates, a bustling issues section, and half of Congress commenting "LGTM" on a 200k loc change that dropped the night before.
@kai_fall Wonder how large the clib files are on your machine that make the executable on the right possible...
At work, I've been pleasantly surprised to see I'm actually getting smaller executables after porting to rust for an embedded project.
@PixelArtJourney Give this a try! Should come with a color picker and a more perceptually-acurate adjustment tool.

And, if you're curious about why this is all happening, here's a great article on the subject. https://t.co/2fP7Qou9dN
@LambdaByzantine @snowalgo Last year, I tried out an "AI resume reviewer" tool with a heavy dose of skepticism. It said that I could be doing more to highlight skills relevant to the job description and offered to make small edits. It ended up added experience with MongoDB and React, which I've never used.
@Pontypants@DriftedTrack Yeah, I think counter-intuitive is the right word. I think the reason it's so weird is because it's trying to turn your CLI formatter tool of choice into an IDE-native feature. By making it so flexible that it can support tons of options, it got clunky.
Have fun with C/C++!
@Pontypants@DriftedTrack I know you said you've toggled all the settings, but do you wanna double check this one?
"Format on type" should be what you're looking for.
@Pontypants@DriftedTrack May help to put this in your project root directory. There's a chance clang-format is running, but it doesn't know what configuration you want.

@Pontypants@DriftedTrack In VS Code, you can manually trigger auto format with Alt+Shift+F. You can tweak some settings if you want it to format on save.

If you're not getting any formatting when you hit that keyboard shortcut, lemme know.
