in another life…. i hope i never trust someone soo easily just because i loved them too much. and of course, i hope i never fall in love again, so i won’t be left struggling to find myself again, struggling to trust people, and carrying the ptsd from all the lies left behind. ❤️🩹
people with abandonment trauma don’t just fear rejection they expect it. They see rejection where it doesn’t exist. One unanswered text or a short reply can make them feel like they’re too much, annoying, or not worth the effort. They might push people away to avoid the pain of being left, even though it hurts. It’s not what they want, but it feels safer than waiting to be abandoned
I’m a girl that loves love. I want to be someone’s favorite person. Their safe place. Their first call. Their “look what I found, it made me think of u.” I want the kind of love that feels intentional.
I had a miserable childhood, a miserable teenage years, and now I’m a miserable adult. I still feel the same way I used to feel as a child, crying alone in my room, wishing to die in my sleep.
