Albanians just showed the world how it's done.
The government was selling off prime coastal land and protected islands to Jared Kushner and linked investors for a massive luxury resort turning public beaches and nature reserves into private playgrounds for the ultra-rich. The people said: HELL NO. Thousands poured into the streets under “Albania Is Not For Sale.” Protests turned fiery. They stormed government buildings and burnt down the Prime Minister’s house. This isn’t just about a deal. It’s about sovereignty. It’s about refusing to let your country be auctioned off to foreign billionaires while locals lose access to their own coastline. When elites sell the nation’s future for kickbacks and luxury resorts, the people have every right to push back hard. Respect to the Albanians for refusing to be colonized by cash. Other countries should be taking notes.
Because of his WCW contract, La Parka wasn't allowed to compete in Mexico so he faked a leg injury in his match with Bill Goldberg to be written off of TV.
He beat up his leg to make it look legit then had to convince the doctor that he didn't need surgery.
The Chairman then went back to his home country and worked a series of shows culminating in a Mask Vs. Mask match against Pierroth Jr.
A lot of lucha libre fans criticized him for losing to Goldberg, but it was just business to him and he didn't take the loss personally.

It’s fucking bizarre to me that a certain part of society treats fast food workers, bartenders, and retail employees as beneath them when society would collapse so fast without them.
I’m going to be honest. I’m a huge fan of policing your own. MLB does it. NHL does it. NFL does it. The only way to get players to stop acting like idiots, is to let them know when they are. If a team is going to constantly flop and foul bait, then you may as well get your money’s worth. I’d love to see more of this in the NBA. It’s the only way things are going to get cleaned up. Obviously, the league isn’t going to fix it.
Remember when Jed Hoyer spoke down to us after the fire sale and said all this was just a "re-tool" of the defending NL Central champs, not a rebuild?
That was five years ago this July...Theo's squad won the WS in Year Five.
Good times. Good times.
#Cubs
@raymon322 I agree with a lot of what you say especially for the people who say “trade for something” because there isn’t much stock to use.
To me, Jed is not the right person at all. Craig is a good manager but they need a hitting and possibly pitching philosophy switch.
When Ian is gone next year, I will be fucking happy.
Sadly I can see where they re-sign him and we do the same dance year after year. Good player but the streakiest hitter in my lifetime it seems like
Ian Happ on the Cubs' struggles: "We're going to get out of it, we're going to be alright. To be in this position, have a nine-game losing streak and still be a few games above .500 is just a testament to the baseball we've played previously. We'll get it right and move it in the right direction." @Rahimi_Harris
I like having Kevin Alcántara develop by sitting on the bench rather than getting ABs. That's probably the best way to know whether he's going to be an answer in the future.
The thing about #TheMandalorianAndGrogu is that it's a mid-80s kids movie.
It's unapologetically silly and whimsical, but also slimy, gnarly, occassionally scary. It's from back when PG used to mean something.
It's Dark Crystal, Willow, or Temple of Doom (without the racism).
In 2018 my health insurance was $180/month.
I never went to the doctor.
Today it's $430/month.
I still never go to the doctor.
Because the deductible is $6,000.
I pay $5,160 a year just to have a card in my wallet.
That I'm afraid to use.
This is America.
Trump not only put Colbert out of work. He put the crew, the band, the costume and makeup, the security, the writers, the accounting and hr staff, and the lives of everyone who depended on that income to feed their families out of work. Trump is a weak minded, petty, and feeble destroyer.
This regime has never won the central. Everything they say about "it's just one of those stretches" has no merit because they've never proven they can beat this team over 162. Never.
Coincidentally haven’t won jack shit since Ian Happ started being the “leader” of the team.
Probably because he believes these dumbass statements he makes.
It is completely insane that we had two teenagers try their best to do a one-for-one replica of one of the deadliest racist mass shootings in history, and somehow it is not the biggest story in the country right now
But he’s not currently a "private citizen"….he is currently the Secretary of Defense that is also currently in the middle of a war….this is another major violation of the Hatch Act by the Trump administration
