RBC CEO Dave McKay says organizations need a window into the greater world to sync with societal shifts.
Former @globeandmail EIC @StackhouseJohn keeps @RBC engaged in wide dialogue and inquiry in an editorial mode, fostering a culture of learning and adaptivity. #rbcdisruptors
Creating a culture of learning is a social project.
The pace of tech change makes this more urgent than ever, but human-centered responses are necessary to enable interdisciplinary collaboration.

.@tomwalsham of @TWG taking an active role to moderating—instigating?—the panel discussion at #uxrconf. It's great to see panelists pushing back at each other.
Such dialogue is essential to keeping functions like research and product engaged with broader org development.
It's great to see the @ONgov so thoroughly embrace design-led approaches, across functions like digital modernization and policy innovation alike. Feels like a real movement! https://t.co/fF0JIhIdVy
@LubaK It's a bit strange to hear sideways discussion of these big issues (violence on and off the field, #TakeAKnee...) through the lens of content. At least they're being acknowledged, engaging first as they know how, and starting process of change in a small way.
NFL content distribution and digital product strategies are designed in coordination with tweaks to the game itself.
Even further integration is needed—the NFL's relevance depends on deeper cultural factors than products / content.

@jessmcmullin@taimhuynh Great example of overlap between design research / prototyping / communications. Touched on this with @danieljepstein this morning, regarding his upcoming video prototyping workshop with @AntlersAnchors #converge
Last year's @SDNCanada conference left such an impression of connection across the country.
Looking forward to reconnecting with some familiar faces and meeting more service designers from across Canada.

@amandahwood On @pastpresentpod@NeilJYoung17 had the same curiosity and referenced this article to find that it's a recurring craze. https://t.co/4XvuMZnmXo

@redesign Not entertainment-industry-specific, but the segment on Bill Clinton in this @pastpresentpod episode addresses systemic privilege and power around this story. Historical frame is essential for such reporting. https://t.co/E6QD2nAvK8
Takeaway from this talk:
Traditional notions of The Public have shifted. The public/private divide has blurred. Now there is great opportunity for publicly-minded organizations to re-center individuals and embrace the energy inherent in pluralism, diversity, and participation. https://t.co/aurEHHzOJh
On Nov 29, #KateFowle, Chief Curator for @garage_mca in Moscow and Director-at-Large at ICI in New York, visits Toronto to present her talk, "The Reflexive Museum," as part of MOCA's The Museum Is Not What It Used To Be series: https://t.co/XwTBwXLBNy
It's our first time visiting the new @autodesk space at @MaRSDD for the @Strategists_TO#DesignStrategists event.
Great to see this series get such traction so quickly with a focus on high quality panels.
