For someone that had a first class, why not give them a free pass to the graduate trainee interview? Those guys worked their ass off and deserve that privilege.

I've always wondered why CVs are required for entry-level and graduate trainee roles. Shouldn't grades be the first determinant for candidates just entering the job market? The graduate trainee process is what I detest most,so many exams and procedures, yet they shortlist so few.
