50 yrs ago the the rail unions lobbied for police officers to travel free on trains so they could intervene off duty to protect staff. The railway companies even ran adverts saying you never know if a police officer is sitting there. 1000s of criminals were arrested on trains 1/2

EU harmonisation of hemp is coming. So ask yourself this - why is the Irish Government, for a crop that is already legal in Europe, trying to raze the existing industry to the ground? A native industry built by farmers, workers, volunteers and entrepreneurs. Why to this day do they aggressively pursue non-sensical prosecutions - who stands benefit, once the final harvest is sewn and the last shop is closed?

For an EU legal product that poses *no danger to public health,* the core issue which they’d have you forget - why are they so intent on erasing the current participants? And what happens after that, once CBD is shortly and undeniably cleaned up at an EU level? *Who stands to benefit?*

These are the questions which need to be asked!
