@RetailPro369 Agreed, I really want to work for a brand that stands for the things I stand for. Brands aren’t just about products, they are also about personality.
@kellenpesnell@RetailPro369 Duolingo has become known for the funny content that they post of their mascot, I think they found an advertising strategy that really works for them.
When a brand wants to make their content more visible to its target audience, they should implement hashtags. Hashtags are a great way for brands to get more users to interact with their content. Hashtags can also be detrimental if a brand does not know how to use them properly

Using negative attention from the media to garner attention to his fashion sense was very smart of ASAP Rocky. The fact that he got an opportunity to work with Ray Bans after a negative situation is amazing.
Fortunately, he was found innocent. Both during and after the trial he used this media attention as a platform for his fashion sense. And after the trial, he was named one of the Creative Directors of Ray Bans glasses.
Wendy’s loves to grab users attention by using trending topics and comedy. I look forward to Pantone announcing the color of the year and Wendy’s caught my attention by relating it to their brand. This is a great example of entertaining content.

Here are some key points Apotheker makes in her speech.
- Retailers should seize the opportunity to raise marketing productivity with ai
- Brands must learn to implement ai in marketing but protect the rights of their hired marketing team
@RetailPro369

Using the usage/application method was a great idea for Suave. Explaining the benefits of each product will help customers make better decisions for better experiences.
Suave Essentials is using product positioning approaches to promote their hairspray. They are explaining the specific use of each hairspray and the support that it provides.
Skims is one of those brands that is extremely successful because they focus on diversity and inclusivity. I love how they make women and men of different sizes and shapes feel welcome.
More than just segmenting their audience into men and women, Skims has continuously found different niche groups of people and successfully turned them into loyal customers by utilizing all aspects of segmentation and positioning.

Communications research is the best way for brands to identify issues that are holding the brand back. A great example of a brand that used this to their advantage is Crocs. Around a decade ago, Crocs were viewed as a cheap and ugly shoe. So how did they become cute and trendy?
If you view the Crocs website now, you will see that Crocs are available in a large variety of colors and patterns. Crocs used the product-specific research approach to identify problems and the consumer-oriented approach to understand why customers would choose Crocs.
