Today we are announcing our biggest bet yet on our own silicon.
Starting next calendar year, we will scale our Maia family to multi-gigawatt deployments, making it the primary inference system for our own product and services.
And we’re introducing Maia 300, which delivers 40% more tokens per watt compared to leading GPU-based systems.
We are already deploying Maia 200 across the US, Europe, and Australia, delivering up to 1.7x more tokens per watt across experiences in Teams and Copilot.
Our goal is to build on the full-stack efficiency gains we’ve already seen, while continuing to bring the latest innovations from across the ecosystem into our fleet.
We’re kicking off the New Year on #BehindtheTech with a wide-ranging conversation with @LisaSu, Chair and CEO of @AMD, from her upbringing and early interest in engineering to her role today leading one of the fastest growing semiconductor companies in the world. Take a listen.
♥️ Everyone you have interacted with has been abnormally stressed for 15 months. Beyond feeling lonely and stir-crazy, they’ve likely got work issues, family issues, finance issues, mental health issues you don’t know about. Even the thriving, lucky ones. Please be kind.
WHEW.. navigating systems that weren't built for people like me while also trying to create change while also trying to be pragmatic while also trying to advocate for myself while also trying to survive while also trying to live my values while also trying to do my job.. u know?
I have a big problem with this in that LMM is cleaning up @jonmchu's mess here. Silence from JMC, besides retweeting this (heartfelt, genuine) statement from Lin on #InTheHeights . This is like a mom apologizing for her adult son's actions. #dobetter
Saw a shirt on someone that said "LOVE OUR PEOPLE LIKE YOU LOVE OUR FOOD."
My immediate thought was, 🙌💯👈.
But then I realized - that's not the right CTA. We don't need more of the same exoticized fascination towards Asians that got us here in the first place.

I’ve been taking my time with this book bc the comms nerd in me has had to pause every few chapters to rewatch old speeches.
After what we’ve seen in the past decade, rewatching Michelle Obama deliver this flawless address at the 08 DNC hits different:

‘A Promised Land’ offers the perfect intersection of critical analysis for #comms people and #DEI practitioners alike.
The rhetorical scrutiny @BarackObama endured throughout his campaign and presidency is damning of how racial bias influences *everything* we consume in media.
What's the first image that comes to mind when you hear "AAPI"?
Asian Americans are diverse AF. Let's remind ourselves that we can't advocate for the AAPI community unless the *entire* community is acknowledged, considered, and benefits from that work. #AAPIEqualPay@NAPAWF
😭😭it's the emotional maturity for me❤️✨ to feel this depth of gratitude and joy and to know the the weight of his cultural significance at the age of 8. PRECIOUS. Alan Kim must be protected at all costs #Minari
This is a really intriguing list of “most relevant brands”. Interested to dive into their methodology. But, let’s acknowledge the real story here, which is that Costco = undefeated.

@JonMeakinPR This is exactly what I thought. I would love to see the pitch that R29, Y! received from Hasbro’s agency. Don’t know if it’s immediately fair to point fingers at @AP
