@graciemanelafr8@MiTreasury@CityofDetroit Oh man. I received mine in Oct (!!!) that year.
My fav was when Detroit sent me a mean letter saying I hadn’t paid city taxes. I had clear evidence I did but it still took me ~5 hours of time to resolve that. They did the same thing to the Red Wings that year, too. 🤦♂️
@TurnerNovak He got ragged on for being “old” and getting paid but what a great success story: kicked off the HS team for bad grades, hustled to find a JUCO program, then UAB, then UM. Always thanks his teammates, coaches, and fans in every interview. Now a national champ. Go blue! 〽️
Love this video but the crowd pop was even more pronounced in-person. From the quietest to loudest moment of the night in the span of 2 seconds. Incredible moment to see live. 〽️
@TheFundCFO Good post. One small nuance is that even European waterfalls often permit earlier tax distributions to the GP (subject to clawback), so that the GP isn't left unable to pay imputed tax on carry they haven't actually received yet.
@jasonlk Guessing you wound up in common in the acquirer (behind a bunch of pfd) and he aggressively marked to the PPS on the last-round pfd (or somewhat close to it)?
@DeveloperHarris Fun fact: the painting directly across from the Mona Lisa is Les Noces de Cana (“The Wedding at Cana”), depicting the event from which my wife is named.
@DE_Gifford I live in the Detroit area. There’s a light in front of the local elementary school that cars literally run on red every single time it changes. Police are posted 0.1 mile away every morning looking for speeders but I’ve never seen a red light runner ticketed. Not once. 🤦♂️
