Security researchers have warned that attackers are using Steam Workshop to spread malware through Wallpaper Engine wallpapers.
Some fake wallpapers are uploaded as “Application” wallpapers, which can run programs on your PC.
These files have been used to install malware, steal Steam accounts, collect personal information, and even mine cryptocurrency.
Some of the malicious wallpapers were downloaded thousands of times before being removed.
To stay safe:
>Download wallpapers only from creators you trust.
>Be extra careful with “Application” wallpapers.
>Scan Workshop files with up-to-date antivirus software.
@AustinKingMT You see the same people every time too. They don’t remember you but you remember them. No, I don’t want your overpriced garbage plan that sells my data to foreign and domestic governments.
5 women were just injured in an ACID ATTACK in Jersey City.
Police say two individuals drove up to the women on a moped and threw sulfuric acid on them.
Police are not releasing a description of the attackers.
Why is everyone I work with so fucking lazy and entitled? I’m beginning to think it’s not just that they realized the economy is fucked. It’s that they’re also lazy too.

@AFpost They’re mad because people saw who they really were. Like an episode of Grimm when the monsters lose their composure and show their real face for just a moment.
@NedLamont Been talking to Kier Starmer a bit too much? Please, we know what authoritarianism looks like when we see it. Why do liberals want to control everyone?
