I remade my personal one-page https://t.co/ZpDXUmhcG7 with hundreds of abstract patterns from classic cocktail recipes taken from Elvezio Grassi's 1936 book "1000 Mixtures". Hit refresh to get refreshed.
Christopher Nolan compares 'The Odyssey' to modern superhero projects
“They are the original superheroes ... Homer was the Marvel of his day"
"I think there's very directly this desire to feel or believe that Gods could walk amongst us, and the modern comic book is kind've our expression of that"
"Comic book culture, whether you're talking about Marvel or DC ... a lot of it comes pretty directly from the Homeric epics"

If you thought your company's edge was "how fast you ship", you're in for a rude awakening.
Everyone can ship fast now. Obviously, not everyone can ship tastefully, with quality and restraint in mind. That's the new edge.
A good indicator of good taste is if someone inherently likes something obscure and later a lot more people start liking that thing as well.
Liking Dieter Rams in 2026 isn't exactly a strong signal for good taste, despite it being great design.
@sdw And I can say all your works reflect your own lived experiences, shaped firsthand and not filtered through a screen or borrowed from someone else’s feed.
They really don’t make designers like this anymore :)
