“How can pensioners live on £241 a week?!” Same way mums get by with a newborn on £194.32 for about 9 months, (then are simply unpaid) I guess. And they haven’t had an entire career to save, pay off mortgages, etc, sorry your state handout is still going up but a tiny bit less.
@BBCNews Requiring proof for period pain undermines trust and ignores the real, often debilitating impact it has. Women's health should be respected, not questioned.
Fucking cheek of it. Young have had so much taken away from them - can’t go find work in Europe, can’t afford a house, can’t afford education, no public spaces to hang out, kids growing up in poverty. The people who need to ‘give back to the communities’ is your thieving lot
@RadarLanark I am so sorry for your loss of your beautiful Anne, I have been following your journey since she was diagnosed. This has deeply touched me, you are in my thoughts💚
Remember that not everyone is going to be holly & jolly all season. People are grieving, financially stressed, burnt out, doing the best they can. Holidays are a tough time of the year for a lot of people & you never know what someone else is going through.
Oi @RishiSunak@SadiqKhan instead of taking money from us for ulez and all your other bullshit schemes why don’t you put some money into more boxing gyms, support and youth centre’s for these kids, this knife crime shit needs to stop, pull your head out from your ass and start making some important changes will ya.
People talk about how great it is to cut toxic people out of your life. But no one talks about the price you pay to protect your mental health and peace, or how lonely it is to be an outsider and be portrayed as the villain in their story.
Battling with anxiety is no joke, one minute you’re happy, the next you get in a deep depression and the funny thing is, you don’t know why. One minute your the life of the party, the next minute you don’t wanna be bothered but you always have to keep pushing on so Whoever is fighting this battle right now your not alone.
A teenage girl stabbed to death while making her way to school has been pictured for the first time.
Named locally as GCSE student Eliyanna, the 15-year-old had been making her way to Old Palace of John Whitgift School in Croydon when she was attacked and killed on yesterday morning.
Eliyanna was reportedly stabbed in the neck after stepping in to “protect her friend” who it is claimed had rejected flowers from an ex-boyfriend 💔
Hey @Ryanair, my parents who are in their 70s and 80s, had accidentally downloaded the return flight boarding card instead of the outgoing ones and you charged them £110 to print them at the airport. £110 for 2 pieces of paper which took 1 minute. Shame on you
Today I received 0% of the results of my final year of @durham_uni. The pro vice chan for *Student Experience* told me to my face amid this dispute that the £37,000 I have paid is for the piece of paper at the end. Now that piece of paper is an expensive participation award🧵1/5
