@qatarairways 9XHN8J. Original Doha connection was replaced by a 10+ hr layover after a Qatar cancellation. I was told on Fri that I qualified for transit accommodation. Now Mon & I'm still trying to resolve this travelling with a toddler. Customer Relations plz review my case?
Excited to announce the SpACE-Dx joint lab with Nanostring and Next Level Genomics that'll focus on the development & discovery of novel biomarkers & therapeutic targets using spatial multiomics for early interventions/screening strategies. #spatialbiology https://t.co/VnVSn2Tfj5
I've launched "Vigyan," a new YouTube channel that will feature content in English, Hindi, and Magadhi. Initially, I'll focus on quantum error correction and general quantum theory videos. Watch this space for more.

New from my lab: we show that a clinical-stage oncology drug from Eli Lilly is mischaracterized, and its true anti-cancer target is EGFR. We also show how in vitro drug assays can be misleading - cellular+genetic methods are needed to determine drug MOAs.

To whoever needs to read this. Mental health struggles are real, worse if met with a lack/absence of social support. Just know that you are not alone in this journey. Many are going through it. The stories probably just come through when things get better! https://t.co/IFZUnPCdzI
If you feel like you’re too young and inexperienced to make a difference in biotech, you need to study @JoshuaBCohen1 & @justin_klee. Yesterday they achieved a historic FDA approval for their drug for ALS…which they came up with in UNDERGRAD @BrownUniversity!! Here’s how:
Nobel prediction for chemistry/medicine this year: Katalin Karikó for RNA vaccine technology.
Hard to think of anyone else who satisfies Alfred Nobel’s desire, in his will, to recognize “those who, during the *preceding year*, have conferred the greatest benefit to mankind.”
The first commercial #AI method for detecting MSI from colon cancer pathology slides is now available, by @OwkinScience 🙂 I am happy to see this direct result of our 2019 @NatureMedicine proof of concept paper (with @tom_luedde@lab_pearson et al.) https://t.co/NEg99Bomwj (1/2)
Profiling the molecular heterogeneity in diverse patients is key to precision medicine & therapeutics. But single cell methods need fresh/frozen tissues (hard to scale), while FFPE tissues are routinely collected. We share single nucleus RNA-Seq for FFPE:

🚨We are releasing a new #manuscript highlighting how our AI-based drug discovery platform can rapidly optimize parameters critical to drug development.
🔬Wet-lab data shows that our AI-generated protein drugs exhibit their designed qualities.

Ever hear that ‘necessity is the mother of invention’? In our new work, we found that it’s also true for cancer cells as they continuously adapt to drug treatments. We call it a ‘resistance continuum’ that's dependent on treatment history. https://t.co/s63PiesT6h @Gustavo_SFranca
Agree! Switching from medicinal chemistry to genomics has been difficult but enjoyable so far. Got to realise how intelligent cells can be:) No matter how you design a drug/treatment, some cells will find a way to survive! So are we actually treating or selecting?
Postdocs: You will pay a price for switching fields, but you can more than make up for that with the ability to recognize a hidden connection to spark a discovery (cancer -> development; immunology -> evolution; genetics -> physics..).
Super jet-lagged but happy to have attended the #grcsinglecellcancer2022@GordonConf with a poster showcasing one of our ongoing works in the @DasguptaRam lab. Looking forward to the next meeting!
@biochem_bri And I totally get that ‘trial and error’ is a part n parcel of science. Bt when u r trying to answer a small question, which is like a fraction of the big question u r chasing, then it would have been great to find papers that report failed attempts to answer the small question
@biochem_bri So glad to see someone thinks this way! During my PhD, I really wished that there were papers out there reporting the synthesis strategies that didn’t work for them so that I can avoid spending time doing it!
A thorough investigation of beta-cat/BCL9 downstream activity. Good to see small molecules coming out as effective PPI-s. Add to that, great to see “Wnt spreading its wings” 😇 https://t.co/1U4RZ3NRlJ
