Tomorrow is a working Saturday and your last moment betrayal is the reason that lakhs of bankers will go to the office tomorrow. On the other hand RBI, LIC, NABARD, SEBI, Central Govt. Offices etc. will be closed tomorrow.

Under Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi's leadership, farmer welfare has been at the centre of every step, from direct benefit transfers through PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi to timely institutional credit via Kisan Credit Cards. Ensuring zero shortage of essential inputs has been our utmost priority.
Despite severe global headwinds, the pandemic and geopolitical strife in West Asia driving import costs up to ₹3,000 per bag of urea, the Hon'ble PM ensured our farmers continued to receive it at just ₹300, providing a subsidy of ₹2,700 per bag, directly absorbing the global burden.

@rishibagree PSU Bankers opened record 11 Crore Jandhan ACs in just 100 Days,... But 5 Days Work week demand pending since more than 1000+ days. . she must approve now.
India’s largest public sector bank claims collecting data on executive bonuses would "disproportionately divert resources." 🤡
An RTI asking for Performance Linked Incentive (PLI) paid to @TheOfficialSBI executives gets rejected under Sec 7(9) citing no "central compilation."
Let’s be honest:
📊 Any clerk with basic Excel skills can filter and extract this payroll data in 5 minutes.
🤖 With modern AI tools, it doesn’t even take 1 minute.
Why the secrecy over public sector executive payouts ?
Is transparency an inconvenience when it comes to the top brass ?
RT if you think public institutions owe taxpayers full accountability! 📢

FM, DFS and banks cannot hide behind “priority sector” labels.
If public deposits are cheap and last-mile credit is expensive, the policy and the banks are working for the middlemen, not the public.
It is organised loot — nothing but promoting loan sharking.

A Member of Parliament may be elected from the largest constituency, but can cast only one Vote in the Parliament..!!
Hence,
The Foremost reform in UFBU should be "Equal Voting Rights for all Unions irrespective of membership "
@CBOFofficial@inboc_intuc
Dear Comrades,
CBOF has requested INBOC to take up with UFBU the continuation of agitational programmes following the deferment of the 28–30 September strike:
1. Strike deferment should not mean end of agitation – CBOF wants UFBU to continue agitational programmes until concrete progress is achieved.
2. Five-Day Banking remains the foremost demand – It should be pursued on an immediate and time-bound basis.
3. Strict Work-to-Rule – Members should strictly follow rules/procedures and withdraw extra cooperation.
4. Strict working hours – Members should adhere to regular working hours and leave branches/offices at 5:30 PM.
5. Withdrawal from official WhatsApp groups – Suggested as part of the organisational programme.
6. No participation in management calls after working hours – Officers should avoid such calls as per the organisational programme.
7. Prepare for further industrial action – Membership should remain prepared for action at short notice if there is no meaningful progress.
8. Sunday duty on 27.09.2026 – CBOF asks INBOC to take up with IBA the issue of employees who worked on Sunday and seek one day's salary in addition to compensatory off, with a uniform approach across banks.
9. Disciplinary action for 29.09.2026 – CBOF asks that disciplinary action against members who did not attend office on 28 September be avoided/withdrawn, particularly because the strike-deferment communication was issued late.
10. Maintain unity and momentum – The letter emphasises that the strong mobilisation of members should not lose momentum until there is visible, concrete and time-bound progress.
CBOF has always stood firmly aligned with the sentiments, aspirations, and welfare of its members. The interests, dignity, and well-being of every member remain our foremost priority. Every decision and every initiative of CBOF is guided by the collective voice of our members and our unwavering commitment to protect their rights and welfare.

I’m genuinely impressed by the way bankers are raising their voice for a five day work week.
I believe their efforts can benefit not just their sector, but eventually help establish the same standard across other industries as well.
A five day work week is the global norm for a reason: productivity, health and long term sustainability matter more than simply counting hours.
What’s exhausting is watching Indians attack each other over whether people should work 70 or even 100 hours a week, instead of asking the only question that actually matters: Does the extra time produce more output? More hours do not automatically mean more work. Beyond a certain point, productivity flattens and can decline, while fatigue, errors and burnout increase.
Analyse the system. Measure the output. Don’t just shout at each other about who should work more. #FiveDaysWorkWeek #ThankYouBankers #YouWillGetIt #OthersWillGetIt #ThisIsTheRightThing
@bankaffairs@DFS_India Appoint Officers and Workmen Directors immediately as per the Banking Acquisiton Acts 1970 and 1980 and respect the law of the land.!!!
Till now, even bankers don’t know: What exactly are we expected to do tomorrow?
What should the public ask bankers tomorrow?
What new agenda will be brought by DFS, RBI and IBA in their attempt to target bankers, instead of ensuring clarity and protecting public banking services?
The strike could have remained peaceful and orderly. But DFS turned it into a mess by trying to portray bank employees as the villains.
Now, the real issue is exposed: the way such a vast financial system, serving more than a billion Indians, is being handled is deeply concerning.
Confusion, conflicting instructions and last-minute decisions do not strengthen the banking system — they expose institutional inefficiency.
The public deserves clarity.
Bankers deserve clear instructions.
And a financial system of this scale deserves better governance.
