On December 9, the International Day of Commemoration and Dignity of Victims of Genocide, we honor the victims while emphasizing that ending ongoing genocidal wars and preventing future atrocities must be our utmost priority.

Accountability and justice, not appeasement and rehabilitation of genocidal regimes, remain the most effective tools for prevention of recurrence of genocide.

I support the Tigray Commission of Inquiry's calls for concrete action.

Good afternoon. This is Dr. Von Batten. I spoke to the amazing Chairman @RepJames this afternoon. The @StateDept refusal to release the Tigray Genocide Report is unconscionable. I am grateful to the Chairman for bringing up Tigray during the hearing. Republican leadership is needed to get the Biden @POTUS Administration to do the right thing.

The Biden Administration has bent over backward to prevent any serious action against @PMEthiopia for the massacre of over 600,000 men, women, and children in Tigray by troops loyal to Prime Minister @AbiyAhmedAli. This is unacceptable
