When you look at the people against bip-110, it’s hard not to be for it.
They’re mostly a bunch of grifters who give Bitcoin a bad name and make normies allergic to the space.
- it’s good that we have an alternative implementation of Bitcoin that’s not Bitcoin core
- it’s good that spammers are exposing themselves as threats to Bitcoin
- Bitcoin is for enemies, so it’s good that we have arguments and Bitcoin keeps ticking
@HodlHudge@roxom Yes, ai agents are one of many catalysts that will likely help btc reach its full potential….still, 2045 is a very tight timeline and unlikely,
If im wrong, I’ll be vacationing on my yacht or private jet.
@saylor@Strategy STRC is NOT transparent because the decisions on how to adjust the yield are opaque. This creates major risks that yields can be lowered or stopped at any time.
@saylor The Bitcoin network is an independent and alternative financial system which operates exclusively in the asset Bitcoin.
MSTR and Strc are poorly engineered fiat products which don’t even act as Bitcoin IOUs.
@saylor Solid companies aren’t this desperate to sell retail on made up metrics….they spend thier time providing thier product/ service and making money.
@ToneVays@saylor Saylor buying btc with company profits = awesome!
Buying btc with ATM = ponzi adjacent but inevitable under certain mrkt conditions
Buying btc with preferreds = high risk for everyone
Real issue = advocating against self custody
Also, bitcoin will be fine at any growth rate
It seems like MSTR is close to owning the max number of bitcoin they’ll ever own (if they haven’t peaked already)
I’ll have to bookmark this for later to see if I’m right or if I’ll have to eat my hat.
Strategy has sold 3,588 $BTC for $216 million to fund dividends on our Digital Credit securities. As of 7/5/2026, we hodl ₿843,775 in our BTC Reserves and $2.55 billion in our USD Reserves. https://t.co/Cssgz29Psj
@RobinSeyr Yes, but those payments are monthly Perpetual. They will supposedly last forever, or at least until saylor stops the dividend (which makes strc worthless).
He can also lower the dividend, but this is hard to do until bitcoin rockets, and is dampened by the constant btc selling.
@saylor Bitcoin is digital money, the more people self custody it and use it for payments, the stronger it becomes. The more people pay someone to buy it for them, the weaker it becomes
