Press release for more https://t.co/mhSM1G5KCQ
This pedestrian death occured around the corner from our clinic, @dandeliondpc. The known high risk spot https://t.co/9WuJ2M8jMR is designed to fail pedestrians. The cause is infrastructure failure. How are you responding @LevarStoney@ellenrva, @thedrmikejones, Reva Trammell?
@jareddashevsky Check us out @dandeliondpc (more on our Instagram and website) and some of our more unique qualities in DPC reflected in our recent hiring post: https://t.co/WTDqGqzyRX
@ClimateJobList We love some good climate data science, but y’all got the wrong Dandelion Health. Please remove this post and do not use our logo. Thank you and good luck.
"The fully bilingual practice which built out a pharmacy to help non-native English speakers navigate a confusing pharmacy experience that previously led to missed or mixed-up medications." That's us!

What can be done? We recommend two approaches: (1) prioritise enduring relationships with patients and within teams; (2) push more decision authority to the physicians closest to patients.” This is exactly what we’ve done in Direct Primary Care https://t.co/w1kBx12BHl
Fascinating study from @ChristineSinsky about the value of a continuous relationship with primary care.
“$1 billion per year across the USA in excess healthcare expenditures due to disruption in relationships between patients and their PCP”

This is an example of the model of care that we need. Direct Primary Care can do this. We just need many more of us to get towards 125 FP/family. See below.
1/Doesn't everyone in US deserve concierge-level #primarycare? A 🧵 I recently met with the ambassador to the US from a nation w/1 family physician for every 125 families. The US has 1 FP for every 1,232 households (1/507 households if incl all PCPs).
Instead of fighting dandelions in your garden, harvest them! Dandelion greens taste great in a salad or can even be used to make tea. The flower and roots are even edible and contain a high number of vitamins, minerals, and fiber: https://t.co/8E2XhsLLl0 #PeoplesGarden
We must obtain patient consent for financial harms of care. At @dandeliondpc we work to limit the harm and always be cost transparent. It should be the obligation of all healthcare providers in the US.
My sister @2plus2make5 and I argue in @bmj_latest that because the American health care system routinely fails to disclose the cost of care to patients, it routinely provides care without consent.

This is Sophie. She has a classic case of dandelion toes, a rare condition caused by running through fields of dandelions. Luckily it is completely harmless and ridiculously cute. 14/10
We would like to congratulate Dr. Joe on the opening of this much needed practice. He’s volunteered at several of our tree plantings & is a climate champion. Plus, Southside can use more access to affordable health care. It's totally a win & we’re here for it! Congrats friend. 🎉
