@lukeNukemAI@koltregaskes Oh of course - but I don't know what that is, so this is the only real way to compare - I know the margins are substantial on API pricing but the original SemiAnalysis was (I believe) based on API pricing too
@tomhacks@kimmonismus I know this is a mix of GPT 5.5 and 5.4 but this was my last 7 days using Pro 20x - I still had 20% weekly limits left too - I'm not seeing such low values in my usage, I could easily do even higher than $20k per month in API prices for the models on a $200 sub
We will bring new providers on as they come online for increased availability and performance. Please note that for safety purposes, Anthropic requires Data Retention so this model will not be available if you require ZDR.
Claude Fable 5 is live on @ai_stats_team.
Anthropic's most powerful model, sitting above Opus is here for your biggest and most complex tasks. On almost every tested benchmark, it outperforms all other models. It truly is a workhorse, at 2x the price of Opus.
We recently submitted a confidential S-1. We expect it to leak so we’re just announcing it. We have not decided on timing yet; it may be a while because there are things we want to do that are likely easier as a private company. But it’s a complicated set of tradeoffs and this gives us the option to go public sooner if that ends up being best.

We will be adding GPT 5.5 and 5.4 on AWS Bedrock ASAP to @ai_stats_team!
Right now they are only available as region based endpoints, with global deployments coming soon, these will be updated as soon as they are released!
Now generally available, @OpenAI GPT-5.5, GPT-5.4, and Codex on Amazon Bedrock.
Deploy frontier AI models with automatic scaling through Bedrock's next-gen inference engine.
With these offerings on Bedrock, customers can:
◽ Build autonomous agents that handle multi-step coding, data analysis, and knowledge work with GPT-5.5 and GPT-5.4
◽ Bring Codex, the OpenAI coding agent, into your dev workflow and route all model calls through Bedrock. Pay per token, scale as you go.
@XiaomiMiMo has a new model coming to the API:
- mimo-v2.5-asr
The weights were published about a month ago:
- HF: https://t.co/dFhHM80LAy
- GH: https://t.co/VfEdgwDSNB
Alongside their blog: https://t.co/pKEzAzI8JX
Showing it to be preetty performant, will be interesting to see pricing!
OpenAI Robotics is hiring, looking for exceptional full-stack hardware, ops, systems, and ML engineers to help us program and manufacture robots that are useful for society.
AI should be able to help people in the physical world. In the short term, we are focused on robots to support skilled workers to build our future infrastructure; in the long term, we imagine everyone having a personal robot doing anything they need.
Our world simulation research program, led by Aditya Ramesh (@model_mechanic), has evolved over the past year into OpenAI Robotics. Progress is rapid, and based on a foundation of co-design between robotics hardware and ML research.
If you love working hands-on across the robotics stack and want to build the future, please consider joining us. Send an email with your background and evidence of exceptional accomplishment to: [email protected]
Anthropic raises $65 Billion in the latest funding at a high valuation than OpenAI.
Their run-rate revenue crossed $47 Billion, this is assuming no growth, which is highly unlikely with a future release of Mythos class models.
The race between OpenAI & Anthropic is getting exciting ahead of their IPOs later this year!
We've raised $65 billion in Series H funding at a $965 billion post-money valuation, led by @AltimeterCap, Dragoneer, @Greenoaks, and @sequoia.
This investment will help us advance our research and expand our capacity to meet growing demand for Claude.
Anthropic introduced Claude Opus 4.8 - a modest upgrade over Opus 4.7. With improvements across the board - particularly in reducing harmful responses, it represents a step up in general use cases across the board.
Anthropic also announced that they are looking to introduce higher intelligence models at cheaper prices (upgrades to Sonnet likely!) As well as, arguably most importantly, making good progress on safeguard updates preparing for a release of Mythos 'in the coming weeks'!
Introducing Claude Opus 4.8: it builds on Opus 4.7 with sharper judgment, more honesty about its own progress, and the ability to work independently for longer than its predecessors.
Available today at the same price.
