@justinkylejones@brent858 What makes you think DSA operates in good faith? You have to tell the theatre kids to stfu or you are going to lose the party, it’s nothing more complicated than that.

@OfficeHoursDrB@AJentleson I’m simply saying if you think this won’t be close I think you are coping. I still think it’s d+3 and they probably take the house but it’s close, which should be a huge disappointment for dems.
@OfficeHoursDrB@AJentleson What are the chances WAPO has the LV screen nailed down? Whats the error. It's worth ponder what registered voters think, the signal might not be as strong but its a bit of cope to hang on to LV instead of looking at the direction of travel. This election will be close.
@ferrariforrest@SwannMarcus89 The Dems got shellacked in 2024 and did 0 course correction. The GOP will not course correct if they get the shellacking you think they will get in '26. Not sure how 3-5 is very blue considering they need +3 to even hold the house. Again, its way closer than you think.
@kered4321@JillFilipovic Birth rates in West Virginia are not much different than NJ than NY. NJ is one big suburb, NY is almost all urban and West Virginia is rural. You need to adjust for selection (ie people in NYC are most likely to not what kids than people in NJ). Education. Income etc.
@ferrariforrest@SwannMarcus89 No disagreement on worthless Congress. I don’t really care who wins the house, d+3 means Dems probably still take it by a few seats, I’m pointing out Dems are way underperforming expectations

What happened the the abundance crowd? @ezraklein@DKThomp Where is the freakout over @GovKathyHochul idiotic moratorium on data centers. How many pods are you guys going to do on this or was that all fake......
@qthomp That’s why JPOW should have gotten to target instead of waiting and being glazed by every boomer on Wall Street. He didn’t, so now we are here. That and there’s embedded signs of inflation. Make the natural rate now around 3 ex shocks.
@ericwallerstein You are right, maybe he’d like to miss his inflation target for another 54 months and lose his optionality while misreading the labor market every 3 months. Oh sorry that was Powell. What were you saying about how he’s salty?
