With ram prices the way they are, this is fine. People aren't going to shell out 500+ to replace their 32-64gb of ram and motherboard and existing CPU. It exists for AM4 users to get a final upgrade in while ram prices are out of control.

In short, demand for AM4 cpus is high enough for AMD to pour a very large amount of money into making at least one more run of 5800X3Ds
